This place is disgusting. Staff is rude and unfriendly, the manager is a joke. My suite was dirty and there were three dead roaches next to my bed. When I complained to the staff, they acted as they were above me with a snooty attitude. You couldn't pay me a million dollars to come back here. I'd rather stay in a Motel 6. At least I'd feel welcome.

Still the best! We stay here often and appreciate the spotless rooms and the excellent service. It is like being in France in a beautiful mansion. There are only 7 rooms so service is personalized. Expect a welcome drink and a cheese plate upon arrival... it only gets better from there... turn down service, delicious breakfast, comfy bed... I could go on and on! Gary, the manager, is a treasure and he will happily recommend nearby restaurants, stores, etc. The location is within walking distance to many fabulous places such as Nobu, Trulucks, and Capital Grill. Check on Stanley Korchak across the street for shopping. Every room is unique and I love them all, but especially Suite 6!

Unhelpful in any which way. Used to be such a fantastic place to dine, wine, and 69. However this place has plummeted. So so dissatisfied and disappointed.

Is this Heaven??? My boyfriend & I stayed in Suite 1, for a nice little getaway. Parking was easy, they met us at the car and assisted us with our belongings. Check in was quick and then we were shown our room. There was a cheese tray waiting in our suite, which we happily enjoyed while getting settled in. The turn down service, with a plate of macaroons, was a wonderful surprise!Everything was better than we could've expected. Five star service, a comfortable bed to sleep in and a gorgeous, clean bathroom. I would absolutely jump at the chance to stay here again. If you appreciate being treated like royalty, this is the place to stay.

We did the NYE thing at the Hotel St. Germain and seemed to be about average aged for the place. So, yes lots of "old farts". Spectacular event. Nice jazz band, moving to R and B and motown. delicious, elegant dinner with about 15 tables. Lovely trteatment of a truffled duck egg in its shell. Fabulous oysters. Charcuterie - well that's my downfall. Chocolate souffle. Champagne. Not a foot wrong - waiters with white gloves, a charming hostess. Hamdled the seafood allergy witout fuss.Madame was especially impressed that the menu was imprinted with our names. This will become a tradition!

A touch of france in dallas. A beautiful, older B&B with great service and very nice rooms - (if you want a fancy box then this is not your place). Loved the sitting area in the room - great for passing the time reading a book or browsing the great design magazines and books spread throughout the hotel.Turn down service included rose peddlesBreakfest in room was the best i have hadGreat entrance, parlour room and fireplace roomWe came with their full holiday decor out and it looked awesomeA great place to celebrate a small wedding, a bridal shower, etcThis is not a place for children as all dishes are fine china or crystal. This is not a place for wifi - it is a place to get away and focus on your spouseI wrote this, not my wife. Our son surprised us with a Valentine's dinner for two at Hotel St. Germain. We'd been wanting to come here for years. White glove treatment here. We were seated in the parlor for drinks while our table was being prepared. When we arrived at our table, the menu was imprinted with our names on it. First class! Beautiful setting. Every course was delectable, exciting and so unexpected. Presentation was just gorgeous! VERY Romantic and Memorable evening. Cannot wait to visit again. Definately worthy of 5 STARS!

My family had Easter Brunch at the hotel this year. I read online that it was rated one of the top places to have Easter Brunch in Dallas. To say that we were disappointed is an understatement. There was very little food, and what food there was had been picked over and/or was cold. We waited at least 30 minutes to be seated and nobody ever brought us the mimosas they promised us while we waited. The service was terribly unfriendly and not at all welcoming. The total bill was more than $600 for my family of five. I will never return here and I'm quite certain neither will anyone else in my family.

This hotel is an overall great and unique experience. My wife and I stayed one night for our 10th anniversary, and we were given every royal treatment (including a free upgrade and access to the balcony in another room that was not occupied for the night). Complimentary champagne, rose pedals on the bed, etc. We were treated very well! The style of the place is great. Definitely a treat away from the commonality of most other "luxury" hotels. My one real complaint is the bed. It was incredibly uncomfortable, and the pillows were cheap and deflated. I had an awful night's sleep. If the beds were updated, this would be a truly perfect place to stay.
