Homewood Suites by Hilton DFW Airport South

The Homewood Suites by Hilton DFW Airport South exceeded my expectations for the full stay! From the first airport shuttle ride with John to the ride back to the airport with Wiley, the staff went above and beyond to provide great service. At check in, Lena was extremely friendly and gave us recommendations of things to do in the area.The hotel looks like the pictures. It is newer, opened in May 2021 and the staff is doing a great job keeping it maintained. Our room (328) was very spacious, even as a studio suite and perfect for sharing with my best friends for our weekend trip. Like most Homewood locations it had a full kitchen with dishes etc. The decor in the lobby and rooms were modern and pretty. The place felt clean. The gym was nice. The complimentary breakfast was decent, with the basic foods such as waffles, toast, muffins, boiled egg, scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, and potatoes. It worked to put something on your stomach, but there are other restaurants within a half mile too (Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, Panera Bread, McDonald's etc.)The bed was so COMFORTABLE! I slept like a baby each night. I have no complaints whatsoever. If you're thinking of booking this hotel and need to fly through DFW with a complimentary shuttle, then I recommend Homewood Suites by Hilton DFW Airport South.

It was a pleasant stay. One day I was hanging by myself and I worked out in the fitness center and swam and sunned by the pool. They have a bar which is open at night so you can hang out and socialize with your fellow travelers. Many airline staff stay here. Arcenio and Tyrone at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Lots of parking all around the building. The room was so nice. I always like kitchenettes because you can make your own meals. And a full size fridge - yay! We stored leftovers in there so I would have food the day he was busy. The microwave display did annoy me when reflected by the full length hall mirror into my eyes while trying to sleep. So he fashioned a cover of sorts. The bed was the hardness I liked but the pillows too soft for my taste. You can hear the noise of the freeway and planes but you get used to it. The walls are not that thick so you can hear your neighbors' conversations. Ironing supplies and hair dryer provided. Breakfast was fine. We only ate one day as we're both not breakfast people when traveling. Fitness center was nice and large so I could have space for yoga. Peloton bike not working which aggravated another guest. Hand towels provided. The pool area had towels as well but not large ones to drape on the lounge chairs so I brought a room bath towel to lay on. No hot tub and the pool water was cold even in the sun. The patio/bbq area was pleasant to relax in. You can watch the planes fly overhead and sometimes the engine noise disrupted conversation. Late check out is noon. They have transportation to take you to restaurants within a 3 mile radius so you can grab a meal or Uber eats is free delivery to guests I believe. Hotel is lovely in decor. I liked the light fixtures and amenities. They have a meeting room you can hold events in. I recommend. Close proximity to airport is a plus but it is farther from activities and downtown.

I really like this hotel. I travel to this area a few times a year and have been staying at a number of different places trying to find a nice hotel at a decent price. Granted it is quite new so it's a little unfair to compare it to some of the older locations in the area. Having said that, it seems to me, to be one of the best values in the area. The rooms are fairly big and quite stylish. The rooms have a modest kitchen in each one including a full sized refrigerator. The shower is first rate and provides hot water. Every one of the employees I encountered were extremely kind and friendly. I didn't get a chance to try the complimentary breakfast that is included in the price. No doubt that I will be staying here again.

I would love to stay here again. The staff is so nice and everyone is so great. I was on a floor that was bard for me to navigate and they moved me upon request with no issue. The hotel itself is beautiful, it has all the amenities. The rooms are so comfortable, big and clean. I hate I only stayed a night. I wish I could go and stay a whole weekend.

The front desk staff is horrible. I asked one girl a question and she replied 'I don't know, I just work here'. Another front desk agent (Shay) told me to come back later when someone else was working. I've never felt like my business was so unappreciated more than this. Luckily, there is hope, The room was nice, breakfast was great and the bartender staff at the Lodge was fantastic. If it wasn't for them, I would never come back to this location again. It's customary for the front desk staff to greet guests and make sure they feel welcomed. The current staff doesn't do that. They act like they don't want to be there. And I watched them treat multiple customers like they were bothering them. This is unfortunate and a bad representation of the Hilton brand. Someone should definitely intervene and raise the standards of customer service at this location.

I came to Dallas a day early for a work conference. My coworker and I stayed here, as the conference had its own accommodations later in the week. We were seriously wishing we could have just stayed at The Homewood Suites for the duration of the conference! It was one of the largest rooms I've ever stayed in...super clean, quiet, easy parking, great fitness center, a decent breakfast. I wish I could remember the name of the man who checked us in...he was so polite and friendly. Overall, such a great, great stay!

Stayed here for a studio for 2 nights. Very clean and new hotel. Receptionists are super friendly, dining area is super nice. Although it is near DFW, hardly hear any jet engine noise pass by.

I'm giving it a 1 star only bc I have to. The cabinets were filthy at the handles. None of them were cleaned even when we asked to have them cleaned, they couldn't do it. The coffee maker didn't work. The breakfast was almost all out by 845 and didn't seem to be replenishing it. For the price and the the brand name you pay for, you'd be better off at Motel 6

The Staff was extremely accommodating and delightful! The entire establishment was extremely clean! The service was excellent and the location is spot on!!! I especially recommend this to ALL AIRLINE CREW WHEN IN DALLAS!!! I work for a major airline based in Dallas and require hotel accommodations as I am a commuter from California and without a doubt Homewood Suites is a great location compared to other hotels around DFW airport I have stayed!!! 5TAR AND A BIG THUMBS UP !!As crew I stay all over the world both Domestically and Internationally and in between flights I "NEED" a clean friendly hotel to recover in between flights and Homewood Suites DFW is a winner!!!

This is our fave Hilton in DFW. We had great service from Kaya and the rest of the staff last Christmas when we stayed, and again this trip. We can count on this hotel to be clean, and to feel welcome. Kaya even made me a fresh cup of coffee this morning at 4am, even though breakfast hadn't started yet. We will see you again next time!
