Let me tell you for 12 bucks You can stuff yourself twice with the amount of food that they give you.Get the jalapeño chicken and the orange chicken and half lo mein and half fried rice. It's the perfect combo. I'm a pretty big guy and I can eat twice with that amount of food

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing, even the Crab Rangoon. I didn't finish a single dish, and the $50 bill felt steep for the quality.I hope this review helps others make an informed decision.

Today I ordered a takeout order when I arrived to the establishment to pick up my order. I noticed that I paid two dollars more than what was advertised on their menu board as well as my TSO chicken was robbery to the point where I could not chew it. Otherwise, the vegetables were fresh and the lo mein was tasty.

Consistently delicious and quickly prepared food. The service is friendly and the dine-in option is a plus, but I usually take my food to go. Definitely good for groups, and the dine-in area nornally has open seating when I drop in, so there hasn't been an issue of this spot being too loud or crowded in my experience.

This place use to give better portions, but lately they seem to be exercising shrinkflation. Disappointing, because this use to be a much better deal.

Ordered take out of crab Rangoon, orange chicken and sesame chicken. The only thing that was good in my opinion was the orange chicken, it was very mid but it at least had a good flavor. The fried rice was bland and had no veggies. The sesame chicken tasted like straight up garlic. The crab cheese was cold and dry and something straight out of a bag. Overall not my best Chinese experience in Dallas!

I am conflicted. The portion sizes are pretty large, especially compared to Panda Express. However, I can't say that the food tastes as good. The Lo Mein is super bland and is basically seasoned with only soy sauce, and could use some white or black pepper, and maybe some vegetable pieces or something. The Green Curry was waaay too sweet and had jalapeños, which I am not sure usually comes in Green Curry dishes. The fault probably goes on me for ordering a Thai dish at a Chinese express restaurant. The Mongolian beef was fine, but the beef was a tiny bit dry. Might have been sitting under the heat lamp too long. If I ever return, I'll probably try the more classic chicken dishes such as general tso's or orange chicken

If you're looking for a Chinese fast food restaurant that offers large portions and good quality food, then you've got to check out Homei. One main thing that stands out about this restaurant is the portion size. Whether you're ordering a meal combo or a la carte dishes, the portions are quite generous and can easily feed two people or provide you with plenty of leftovers for later. Additionally, the prices are quite reasonable, especially considering the portion size and quality of the food. I paid $8 for fried rice, lo mein, and two chicken entrees. Speaking of the food, the flavors are solidly delicious. The orange chicken and jalapeno chicken were well sauced, with the right amount of crispiness and spice. The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They also offer online ordering and delivery services, which is convenient if you don't have time to go out or prefer to eat at home.Overall, delicious Chinese food and generous portions at a reasonable price - aka what I would call a much better version of Panda Express.

Think of this as a better Panda Express. Food is overall higher quality and portions are godly, especially for the price. Every time I go, I can probably squeeze 3-4 meals out of a 2 entree plate. The staff are incredible and exceptionally nice, so every time I walk in, it feels like home. I typically get the jalapeno chicken and the orange chicken. Both are so delicious, and remind me of faux Asian cuisine to a tee. There's a sense of sweetness in these dishes that is not present in typical Chinese cuisine, but that's not a bad thing. There are certain times I crave Chinese food and certain times I crave Chinese American food, and every time the latter happens, Ho Mei is the way to go. Food is always so flavorful and the meats are always perfectly cooked. Overall, I cannot complain. This place excels at what it does, and it delivers everything it promises. 5/5 stars.

In the area for work. Workers were sweet as they could be, but the food was terrible: chicken was cold and old. Rice was warm but no flavor. NGL I was super disappointed.
