Hidden Creek

Had the opportunity to attend a wedding here and found this a fantastic venue.About 30 minutes east of Downtown Dallas, this venue is away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. Its a great escape for a wedding. There was plenty of parking when I arrived, but most guests had taken shuttles from the hotels. The vows were taken at an outside gazebo, amongst the woods/trees. (The seating for guests were only half covered by the tree shade, so guests in direct sun were a bit uncomfortable. I imagine this would be very uncomfortable in July.) They set up an open bar in the shade outside for guests after the ceremony, before heading inside for the reception. The best part is the barn for the reception. Yes, a barn. The barn is elegant, yet rustic. With this type of clean slate, you can really create your perfect ceremony with your imagination. Unsure of the caterer that was used, but the meal exceeded my expectations. (I did find it funny that the bar had beer glasses that could not hold the entire beer; they should get bigger glasses.)Your guests will need to drive or have a shuttle take them back to their hotels about 5-10 minutes away, BUT I prefer the remoteness of this location versus a hotel wedding reception.

Oh my goodness, this venue is absolutely gorgeous!! I felt like I was in a fairy tale! I came here last weekend to celebrate my friend's wedding and the entire venue was stunning. They have gorgeous lights out in the area where the ceremony was held. The trees helped enclose the venue to make it more private and intimate. The reception was also incredible. There is a lot of room for dancing and the entire set up was fabulous. Hidden Creek really is a magical place!

I attended the first wedding held at Hidden Creek, and it was great. Outdoor space was beautiful the lighted pathway and chapel were beautiful. Inside you have an elegant barn feel but don't be fooled the flashing lights throughout lit up the dance floor. If you are planning a small to medium wedding this location is perfect. Easy to find and plenty of parking.There's an upstairs, dressing rooms I presume but the bridal party made a grand entrance down the the staircase, another cute element about this place.The wedding I attended had open bar not sure if they hired their own bartenders or they work for Hidden Creek, but they made some good dranks.

Hidden Creek is absolutely beautiful and the staff is very accommodating. We held our wedding at the venue this month and people are still commenting on how beautiful the venue is. Even the hired professionals such as the DJ, said it was the best place they've worked at.The setting is intimate and felt magical, especially before sunset! I will book future events at Hidden Creek!

Hidden Creek was wonderful and we are so glad we had our wedding here. It's a gorgeous, rustic (but not too rustic!) venue with an indoor/outdoor option, which was exactly what we were looking for. What really impressed us though was the service. We ran into a couple of hiccups while trying to book the venue but I think it was because of the girl we dealt with originally, who doesn't appear to work there anymore. After we booked, we only worked with Brett or Isaac (the owner) and it was smooth sailing ever since. Brett was amazing and so sweet. We live in Houston and had very limited weekends in Dallas and they accommodated for our schedule. Brett was happy to meet with us for the final venue walkthrough on a Sunday (when they were closed) and was very helpful during the whole planning process. We were allowed to use their easels, which saved us money! On the day of the wedding, we had to move inside due to the rain and I was slightly freaking out because we had this floral frame that was supposed to hang behind us during the ceremony. They let us use their arch, which saved us so much trouble and stress. After the wedding, there was a miscommunication about what was supposed to be left there. I messaged them on FB and Isaac answered me super quickly and offered to stop by on a Monday (when they were closed!) to let us in. They were above and beyond our expectations and I never had an issue of getting in contact with either Brett or Isaac. Even with being rained out for the wedding, it could not have been more perfect due to their help.

Beautiful venue with inside and outside ceremony facilities. Rustic look and elegant decor.

I sincerely applaud the Hidden Creek Director, Isaac Mathai, for his gracious gesture this past summer. My son's wedding was booked months in advance prior to Hidden Creek's construction in July 2016. Due to numerous weather and building set backs, the Hidden Creek venue was not completed in time for the wedding. Isaac made other arrangements with three other local venues and gave my son and daughter-in-law their choice to select from. He not only reimbursed all deposits, he fully paid for their alternative venue as well as Rockwall area hotel deposit losses. Isaac Mathai is a true man of character. I highly, highly recommend doing business with him and booking your wedding at Hidden Creek. Isaac, again, thank you for your integrity and compassion during a stressful time for my family. Hidden Creek recently hosted our wedding of 200+. We were extremely pleased with the venue. Brett was great running the wedding and everything ran smoothly. Had raving reviews from the guests as well. Would recommend to anyone who wants a venue with a beautiful outdoor ceremony and a roomy indoor reception.
