Haute Sweets Hillcrest Village

So have it admit I first became acquainted with this place when they did desserts at Burger Fight this year and served their Oatmeal Cream Pie. It became my partner's favorite dessert in DFW so wanted to try some more items of theirs.This location was super easy to get to and when we walked in were greeted right away by the person behind the counter. They were super friendly and explained to us some of their, and other customer's, favorite items. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and I appreciate that. We tried the following:Oatmeal Cream Pie: Again, the reason why we went and was just as good as we remembered. This is not your childhood cream pie as it's 100% better. The big brookie: it was cooked well and the chocolate chip cookie topper on it had sea salt that added to its appeal. Definitely recommend.S'mores cookie: Another hit with us. Well cooked and you can taste the flavor profile throughout. Recommend again. Chocolate Cream Pie: So will be honest that this wasn't my favorite because I want to say it's dark chocolate for the cookie (not my favorite) and also since I had the oatmeal cream pie prior I thought it would be the same filling and it wasn't. So totally a personal preference but was still good overall. Recommend only if you're into dark chocolate.Overall it was a great experience and will be back for sure it gets some sweets again soon!

A family member wanted to go to Haute Sweets so we decided to go there after having lunch a few minutes away. The location was nice and clean and there was no line upon arrival. There were so many delicious treats to choose from. It took me a few minutes to narrow it down to just a couple of treats for my first visit to the location. I decided on the mini cheesecake and coconut lemon bar. The mini cheesecake was very delectable and filling. I didn't eat the lemon bar until hours later and it was just as good. I will be visiting the location again for more delicious desserts.

Staff was extremely helpful with on point recommendations. I really love what this center has turned into and I'm so excited they are here! We were interested in getting a custom cake for our daughter's first birthday and they said they could have us order it through their flagship location in Lake Highlands but pick up here -- awesome!Stand out selections include:Paleo Banana Chocolate Chip Cookie (recommended by both employees as their favorite and they weren't wrong)Amaretti (delicious with mad coffee dunking potential)Cherry Almond MacaronCoconut Lemon barCan't wait to come back and get the Oatmeal cream cookie. We found this place on yelp and wanted to just give it a try. Im on the hunt for a great bakery here in Dallas. Anyway the best thing here was the cheesecake. Everything else we tried was ok. I would go to this place only if i was in the area and not go out of my way to come here.

Stopped by to check the place out...lots of goodies here!I was greeted warmly by friendly helpful staff. Pondering macaroons, cookies, cupcakes or ice cream, I settled in on my weakness, ice cream!The Oreo Cookie Ice Cream was delicious!

An awesome place to fulfill that sweet tooth urge. Great location with plenty to do surrounding it.

Came here like 30 minutes before closing but the workers were so nice in providing recommendations. The store is small and cute. We were looking for cake but unfortunately they dont really do a lot of cake options. Cheesecake was delicious however, the texture and sweetness is just right. The banana bread is so addicting, i couldnt get enough of it. I wasnt crazy about the lemon tart however, and could do without. Definitely will be back to try their other stuff!

We are thrilled to have a Patisserie in the neighborhood...and a darling one, at that!This time, we ordered a red velvet cupcake and two macarons. All three were scrumptious.Price is a bit high (9.50!), but a delicious treat, nonetheless.BONUSES: great location by the park, woman-owned, friendly staff

The ice cream was decent but not great. The pastry we got (some kind of pecan thing) tasted like it had been in the freezer for a month: that odd chemical freezer burn taste. We actually threw it out without finishing it; we won't be back.
