Hall's Honey Fried Chicken

Wife and daughter .... Super friendly and helpful employees. Great experience and great chicken. Met all our expectations, and we learned all about the history first hand. Thank you...we will be back when we're in the city. We were in one of their newer store fronts. It was nice and clean at 2 pm on a Thursday afternoon.

Supremely underwhelmed!! From the presentation to the taste, not good at all to me. I'm not sure if this is a Dallas thing or what but I've never seen wet pickles placed on top of crispy french fries, topped with bread, sliced pickled carrots and jalapeños all around fried chicken. Of course that means the fries were soggy and inedible. Additionally, the bird was tough as if it was not marinated before frying. I'm sorry but this was not a good experience for me. Oh and where's the honey flavor supposed to be? In the batter or inside the chicken because it was entirely absent.

I do actually like there chicken on a good day,if your looking for fast food this ain't the place,there lobby is never open and the drive through has absolutely no sense of urgency to get you on your way.Ive literally had to pull out of the line because I have to get back to work,come on guys open the inside or have a more efficient system to pump the chicken out,everything is literally fried so it really shouldn't take that long to keep it moving,I did like the chicken the times I went.

After almost a 30 minute wait in the very long drive-thru line, I was excited to receive my food because I just knew it was going to be the best chicken ever but I was very disappointed. I didn't particular care for Halls chicken. Well, let me change that... The waffle was EVERYTHING! It was fresh too because the lady at the window said sorry for the wait. We're waiting on your waffle. And it was very tasty! BUT my chicken tenders were so bland and dry. Didn't seem fresh like the waffle. Being from Chicago, I was expecting way more but it didn't give what I was expecting. Service was great, overall. Drive thru, all though very long line, still moves very quickly. I may give the wings a try in the future. And I would definitely eat another waffle.

We came into town for work and decided to try out Halls Honey fried chicken on our way back out of town. So glad we stop in. The customer service was great and the chicken was even better. Definitely coming back for more chicken soon. This place is whats what!!! Give'em a try. Awesome chicken.

The best fried chicken in dallas. I used to say Hendersons was, but my last trip put Halls on top. Chicken was so fresh and crispy. Omg!! The best hole in the wall spot in Dallas forsure.

Very disappointed. Chicken was SUPER BIG, GREASY and too "GROSS" to eat... wasted my money! I ordered 2 orders of leg/thigh, extra fries. The bag with the items inside weighed almost 3-5 pounds! I also asked for bread on top, it was not, and the GREASY chicken soaked through the bread and made it soggy.

Service was awesome, China was very friendly and pleasant cashier. The chicken wasn't seasoned as well as I expected, although the fries were hot and fresh .

best chicken in Dallas but the hours are not the same as it shows online so be aware before you drive out the way.

It was sadly less than what I expected. The waffle was great, but the chicken tasted like old grease with salt on top. A possible suggestion is to try brining the chicken to enhance the flavor since they want to stay away from seasoned salt. It was just ok.
