As I enjoy authentic draft root beer, this place serves one. Unfortunately, they were out of it. I settled for one of their lite beers.Do not make the same mistake as I did. Thinking it was personal-sized, I ordered the ZZ Top BBQ Flatbread with brisket for the topping. I was able to finish a little more than half. This pizza is meant to be shared with at least another.Not usually a fan of thin crust, I enjoyed this one especially as I folded each slice as a calzone. Some pieces of the brisket were less moist than others. The jalapeños were not spicy but extremely flavorful.Because I arrived before shift change, the day bartender asked for my card. The evening bartender was able to cash me out very quickly.

3.5 stars would be a more accurate rating based on my experience, but I am giving it 4 stars because I like the potential that this place has. My husband and I went during the February Grand Opening, and the noise level was very overwhelming. The acoustics were awful, and it was hard to decipher what sounds the live guitarist was singing. I am hoping that was due to the large crowd for the grand opening and not typical of this establishment. If the bad acoustics are "normal, then a 3 star rating would be more appropriate - after all, they are promoting live music...Guitars and Growlers had a great selection of tasty beers - lots of variety! And their food menu looks great, but we decided to save trying their food for a more typical evening. There is lots of extra parking available in the back.

1. Beer - After all Beer is the main reason to go to a Craft Beer establishment. GREAT selection of Beers, much better than Richardson location. 2. Food - Same simple bar food menu as Richardson & McKinney locations. Food is very Good at all locations. 3. Ambiance - Looks good. Love the Table and "Chairs with Backs", not setting on benches as at other locations, Probably the main reason our party of 10 was able to comfortably stay there for 5 hours. 4. Service - On the whole it's good service at all locations. Saturday everyone on both shifts at Flower Mound were on there game, knew their beers and the menu for first time visitors. I think Flower Mound will be a great location for Guitars & Growlers.

Visited after Christmas. 1). The draft beer had a fresh taste. I tried a lager from Grapevine.2) service was courteous / friendly3) Interior is open, basic and clean.Alright for a neighborhood bar. Will try the food next visit

Came in on a Monday night to catch the nfl game, but instead listened to some great local talent. Food was on point as well. The wings are awesome! Flatbread was delicious as well. Definitely will be back to eat more wings and drink more beer.

It says they're open... but when you walk in one person will look at you like you shouldn't be there, talking on their phone and not speak to you while you look around for the restroom. Then not acknowledge you when you sit at the bar as the only person in there. And then have someone come out from the back immediately to help a person who walked in after you.

Second visit and it did not disappoint. My husband hates restaurant pizza but we tried the flatbread on our first visit and WOW! 3 days later we are back because it's all we talked about. He LOVES IT!! So do I. Outstanding food and the people who run it are so nice. We haven't even tried the live music yet. Give this place a go, you won't regret it!!

We shared a flatbread and meat and cheese Baird between 4. The band was fantastic and the food was perfect. Great ambience and feel to this place. Monday is print night/ songwriter night, Tuesday music bingo, Wed. Trivia, Thursday and Saturday live music.
