First of all Ms.Keisha was a doll! My Virgo sister!!I drove all the way from Fort Worth for this food, and didn't even make it out the parking lot with any of it! Everything was hot and delicious! Highly recommended!

Looks like this location is permanently closed now, last time i visited it was a terrible experience and now they're closed‍ hopefully the other location is still up and running

I really wanted to like this place, but I have to be honest and say that I was let down. I would recommend the CATFISH. It was yummy, but everything else was a letdown. The fried shrimp started off good, but after 3 minutes, the breading started tasting weird and soggy. Also the customer service is almost nonexistent...literally! The restaurant is located in a plaza. When I went in and saw nobody I was confused. The door was unlocked but no one was there. Suddenly, a woman comes out from the kitchen and asks if I'm gonna pay w/ cash or card. I said card so she said I could make my selection at the kiosk then she disappeared again. Two others came in after me and the same thing happened to them the only difference is that they ended up leaving...‍. I know it's hard to run a restaurant but I need for them to do better.

Sooooo much food, good food. This was the Lovers Ln location. Expect a wait, even with calling in. I had "The Catch" stuffed turkey leg. Very tender. The gumbo was pretty good. I wasn't a fan of the peach cobbler, however. I personally like light, flakey dough, not the thick dough that's common. The location on Lovers is a to-go only spot. The new location on Preston Rd has dining.

I am extremely confused by the high reviews. Wanted catfish for Mother's day dinner and decided to try Granny's for the first time. Was highly disappointed. First, I made a pickup order on their website for 3 ridiculously overpriced combo plates at 3:30pm on Sunday. 2 plates were fish and wings, the other was fish and shrimp. Also had 2 orders of peach cobbler and 1 order of hushpuppies. At almost $30 a plate, hushpuppies should be included. My son went to pick up the order and arrived at 4pm. He sat there until 5pm waiting on the order. 1.5 hours for the 3 plates. There were 4 ppl already there waiting when he arrived. At 4:38, over an hour after the order was made, they told him that they were out of shrimp. Wings were substituted for the shrimp. At 5pm, he received the lackluster food. Second, the little fish I had was just okay. Nothing soooo good like the reviews state. Combo comes with 2 fish and 3 wings and a small amount of fries for almost $30. There was an extra wing in my plate to "make up for" the extra cost of the shrimp. They could have kept all the wings. Back to the fish, 2 pcs...1 of my pieces had no ACTUAL FISH. It was just the fried coating. See the pic. The wings weren't that good either. Didn't taste lemon pepper. So, I paid $26 for 1 pc of fish, 4 wings(I didn't eat after tasting the first one), and a handful of fries. Third, the one star is for the peach cobbler. I didn't even order it. My son and husband did. I tasted a bit. Had good flavor BUT the $6 dessert container was smaller than my hand. Again, ridiculously overpriced. Seriously wanted every bit of that $100 back that was wasted on this Mother's day dinner. Definitely won't be trying them again.

The food is delicious but the customer service I received today was absolutely horrible and they need to rectify the way they treat and speak to their paying customers.

The Catfish was great!Everything else tasted old or frozen and heated up, microwaved.The soda machine was on the fritz I think because there was no carbonation. I was so excited to eat here that I made two of my friends go with me and we spent over $80 and left very very unsatisfied except for the catfish.

This is a takeout spot only. The menu is pretty big, so you may want to check the reviews before ordering. I would suggest the fried fish. The fish was seasoned and crispy. It comes with buttered Texas toast. I had the seafood dressing, but I couldn't find any seafood. It's a bit pricy, so I wouldn't recommend that. I also had the Mac and cheese which wasn't a hit. If you like a lot of pepper, you may enjoy it more than I did. Overall I would rate this place 2.5 stars. It's not bad, but I can't really justify the prices. However, the sides are plentiful.

Ordered via the Toast app & it was delivered via DoorDash if that makes a difference . So yea.... I ordered the 2 piece catfish, a side of red beans and rice, and peach cobbler. For starters, a little overpriced... like $34 wasted. The catfish was overcooked, not edible at all. I received gumbo... not red beans and rice. And they completely forgot the peach cobbler. I called a few times and left a voicemail, but haven't heard back. Never again...

Be prepared to wait.The fish was good. Fresh and piping hot and very large and comes with Texas toast that is really good. However, this fish is no different than any other fried fish you can get from a southern style restaurant. The macaroni and cheese was not good at all, we actually pulled over and gifted it to a homeless man. It's not tasty at all.The shrimp was good, but definitely not jumbo as advertised. I paid $4 each for them, I'm not sure what I was thinking and I would love to see what the popcorn shrimp looks like if these are considered jumbo.
