Awesome safe place!

The rink does not wax the floor making it unsafe for anyone who really likes to skate and not just come to socialize. Not a very friendly place for those who are not locals or white. If you have a mixed race family be prepared to be treated like the freaks at the carnival by the customers. They will go out of their way to let you know that you are not welcome. Save your money and find something else for the family to do. The rink is incredibly small and a major disappointment to anyone that has experience skating.

I regret ever coming here. This place was terrible. 1st they made me tape my mid thigh shorts because they were ripped (I'm a mom of 3) while 12 year olds had shorts up past their butt cheeks, I wasn't wearing a bra but a baggy t shirt and had to have a sweater from lost and found to "cover my breasts" (wearing a baggy men's t shirt BTW and have small boobs. They constantly told people to slow down for skating too fast, and a "kid" got the cops called on him for vaping once and they had 4 squad cars show up and freak out my younger kids because I guess they needed 4 squad cars for one teen vaping incident... we couldn't even have fun here (and my kids are little) and they noticed that "people keep getting in trouble" for stupid $hit. I will never go back... this is a place to only take a church group or something... I'm not used to small town mentality at all but this took the cake...

Wow, what a blast. I haven't been rolling skating in years and this place brought back so many memories. It's a fairly simple set up; small, old indoor basketball court converted into a roller rink. We paid $8 a person to get in and get skates, which isn't too bad honestly. Saturday night was a hangout spot for a lot of young kids, so actually skating was tough during peak times when everyone wanted to skate. But overall it wasn't too terrible.I busted it many times, but it was just a ton of fun and so enjoyable. If you want clean, wholesome fun then come here because it was so much fun.

too many people, not enough rink. nor enough days of the week open to compensate. uber amounts of kids. always guaranteed to be packed both friday and saturday, the only days it's open. let's be honest, inside a place this old, same staff, after all these years, you can only expect so little in terms of "cleanliness". there will probably be about 5 high speed skaters, and 40 others, 25 teens, 10 small children who cannot skate, and 5 parents inching their small children who can't skate around the edges of the overly crowded rink in their tennis shoes. aka, consciously being big obstacles. if you wanna have a heart attack even at the age of 21, come here, because between the walls of a rink that's less than the size of the smallest tennis court, unfortunately with this many people there is virtually no space, you are constantly looking for space to place your feet, while simultaneously darting your eyes in every direction and rubbernecking just waiting for someone to crash into you. there's 2 big waves of people moving fast and then speed racers going 3x as fast weaving in between and constantly cutting you off or tripping you, and others are always kicking your skates, going too slow, or plain falling. beware. a fall means dominos. too crowded not to avoid mass collision. far too many people to skate comfortably. the place is far too small to hold the weight of this growing historical town. I wish it was open more days, or actual days of the week, not just friday & saturday, so adults could come earlier in the day before kids get out of school, to be able to skate a little more comfortably with some space to move, and so the adult speed racers can skate alone and don't viciously knock your children of all sizes and ages down onto that sweet hardwood floor at 30mph, which i also easily, and frequently saw. the skates you'll receive will have either been worn 20 or 20,000 times, no in between. the only good accolades i have for this place is that $8 is great when compared to $20 elsewhere, but if you still haven't learned, you get what you pay for. side note, if this town is gonna keep growing and we're gonna keep having kids here we should probably invest in bigger, and better, local fun for your kids in granbury. sure i love vintage, it's got character for sure, but in terms of the future, i'd love to see this place torn down and rebuilt bigger. if anyone looks on here/ cares anymore in covid times, my friend and i were absolutely the ONLY TWO people in a full saturday nights crowd wearing a MASK in place of COVID precaution. very very gross, muggy, and disappointing. the only reason i can rate 1 star and not 0 is because firstly i can't give 0 stars, and secondly, it's the only ounce of heart tossing fun i've found in this boring little town as a young adult, in a very long time, but i will not be going back, until it's tore down and rebuilt, to be able to fit all the ankle biting feet this dinky old rink can barely hold.

updating my review from 2 yrs ago: its nothing like it used to be. a lot of people have problems with the owners (not me thankfully) and not everyone is welcome. the dress code is actually put into place now. a lot of crazy people come in, like a couple months ago a guy was vaping on the rink and theres literally a no smoking/vaping sign on the door when you walk in. when they called him out on the intercom, he yelled "f*** you" and it took like 20 mins to get him outta there. my friend (male) wanted to wear a crop top, and they made him take it off after 3 immature jerks called him 'fag' over and over. that same night, one of the jerks tripped him on the rink and he had to go to physical therapy for weeks bc they shattered his kneecap. as far as i know, those jerks are still allowed in the rink. the place is ridiculously crowded all the time and for some reason they blocked off most of the seating. its awful now. i dont have fun here anymore.

As parents, we appreciate the work everyone here puts in to keep this a safe and family atmosphere. The dress code and behavior rules are clearly stated and very much appreciated to keep the expected standards.

its a good place. me and my friends go skating here mostly every friday after school and we have fun all the time. but this one worker always comes for us always because of either were "out of dress code" (which is dumb because why does a literal skating rink have a dress code?), were being to loud when we werent, or its cuz were showing to much PDA when we were JUST HUGGING (were all early teens and she looks like shes in her late 40s- early 50s) but other then that they have good drinks and snacks up there for good prices to. me and my friend group all have had our fave memories with each other up there

Wasn't very pleased with the people that worked there. They were very rude. I guess their "usuals" "run" the place because they were sitting on the rails and running over people without being told a thing and I stopped for 2 seconds to fix my skate and got told to get off the floor if I stopped. Was super excited to go because I used to skate at mid cities but sadly won't be going back.
