I don't recommend this place . Their food isn't really a Peruvian taste .they use too much lemon on their ceviche and their lomo don't really taste like it supposed to . They need real Peruvian cooks

The family chicken was so delicious my dog was salivating just from the smell. I would've given it a 5 but they did not have yuca fries or plantains as a side option. You have to buy the. The salad had a lot of dressing (drenched in it) and the fries were nothing special. Will be back to try other foods.

Me and my boyfriend love this restaurant! The rotisserie chicken with fries and salad is amazing. It's served with the yummiest sauce.

We were greeted by the owner I presume and waitress. They both greeted us with a smile. Resturant was empty and we were able to choose our seats. The resturaunt js quiet large and clean. Yes it is cold!!! So bring a sweater and you will be fine. We love Peruvian food and was just getting into it when we lived in Cali. Been in Dallas now for 3 yrs and we just now been trying to find good Peruvian food. My wife love como saltado and has been craving it lately. She found Machu and decided to try it. The como saltado was okay. The tamal was amazing!!!! I def reccomend the tamal and I would go back for those. I reccomend trying if you are wanting to try. It is mediocre to me. But the tamals are well worth it. The staff was nice and nothing like I read in the reviews.Bon apetit

I've been on the hunt for Peruvian food in Dallas since traveling to Peru a few years ago and Gran Machu Picchu did not disappoint. My favorite dish we tried was el chupe de camarón... so, so, so great. I plan to go back just to enjoy this soup again, definitely a "top ten soup" my in my opinion. It's perfect creamy goodness, must try! The other dishes we had were also great and the chicha morada was the bomb. One star off because the TVs were super loud which was kinda interrupting our convo. Maybe just light music would have been better.

What a pleasant surprise Gran Machu Picchu was! We didn't have high expectations for some reason, maybe due to the sign or location, which is not exactly a foodie destination... But regardless, it seemed to be a fairly authentic, family-run Peruvian spot. My companion had started with the fried yucca, then had the fried seafood platter (the name of which I can't recall, nor pronounce), and arroz con mariscos, which was basically a paella for entrees. We followed those with lucuma ice cream.Overall, for a family-style restaurant outside of the city, we were pleased. The servers were friendly, and the place was clean and comfortable. The food was good and we both agreed that we'd be back to try more.

Been going here for years - even when it was at the old location. Authentic Peruvian food.

I walked into this place a little skeptical since the rating wasn't too great but still optimistic. I was pleasantly surprised, the ceviche was perfect. The level of spice and seasoning was everything I was looking for. I did notice they are understaffed but the service was still great. The waitress was kept coming to check up on me. I ended up ordering pollo a la brasa to go and that was also delicious. I will definitely be coming back.

I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone, I asked for a dish of fried pork ( chicharron) and what I got was a dish of 5 bones with barely any meat to pull from the bones, This is insulting and is not worth your money , go to another peruvian restaurant, definitively you will get a better meal.
