Goodfellas was our go-to for pizza since it opened. We haven't had the chance to back since the new owners took over, so I sat at the bar for a glass of wine while I got a pie to-go. It was better than before!! Wood-fired matters, and it was excellent. It's a good restaurant layout, nicely varied menu (everything's good), and good service. I think the toppings are more generous now than under the previous owner. A couple of other observations/suggestions. It was more quiet for a Friday night than I expected, but maybe that's because I was there early. I really enjoyed the live music on Friday nights, especially Tony D. Blakely picking & singing, and it seems that has gone away. Also, I think it used to have a friendlier atmosphere, but maybe that was because we were there so often that we got to know all the servers. As I was getting ready to leave, I started a brief conversation with the new owner. Very friendly and enjoyed exchanging thoughts and anecdotes. Have servers, managers, whoever go around and say hi even if I'm not in your section; check in on me anyway, smile and chat for moment. If a customer doesn't want to chat, you'll know soon enough.Overall great food, solid service, and we'll be back!

To the "new owners". Glad you have kept the same menu, it's perfect! A little advice on the people side of things as we patronize your business weekly. Get your noses out of the laptops in the back room and thank your customers. Interact with them, maybe acknowledge them, it's nice to see you again? What can be more important than the customers paying the bills?

What an incredible visit to Goodfellas Woodfired Pizza we had on a recent Saturday evening. We were meeting friends to have dinner before attending a musical at local high school. Our friends lived in The Colony and were frequents diners at Goodfellas. We were not led wrong; our visit was fantastic.First off, Goodfellas has an extensive menu. Wow, everything is on it when it comes to Italian food. We had a hard time making a decision. While we were "surfing" the menu, we ordered a couple of appetizers, Classic Italian meatballs and Garlic Bread. I apologize for not grabbing a photo of the platters, but everyone dug in. Both of the appetizers were so delicious. The meatballs had an incredible texture, so moist and tender.My wife and I finally decided on our entrees. She decided to order the "Chicken Goodfella's." A beautifully constructed entree of fresh chicken breast sautéed with scallions, shallots, garlic, white wine & cream and tossed with penne pasta. I opted for the Stuffed Rigatoni with Chicken and Artichokes. The entree consisted of stuffed rigatoni tossed with sautéed diced chicken breast & oven roasted Artichokes sundried tomatoes in a Gorgonzola cream sauce.Service was very relaxed which gave us time to visit with our dear friends. After short wait, our entrees were delivered to our table piping hot. Oh, my goodness, both of our entrees were so delicious and ample. We could have easily shared one of the entrees. The sauces were rich, creamy and decadent. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Goodfellas Woodfired Pizza. We'll definitely make the drive to The Colony again very soon to explore more deliciousness on the menu.

The only bad choice concerning Goodfellas is not coming here. It's one of my favorite Italian restaurants. Today was not different, we had the chicken and pepper's over angel hair pasta, it's chock full of chicken and peppers really enough for two. Additionally we got stuffed rigatoni with artichokes, again lots of chicken and artichokes. They have the best Caesar dressing I've had and they tell me it's made in houseThis is a must stopThe service is always great

Ordered a chicken & shrimp alfredo to goGot back to the hotel and the shrimp was overcooked, almost had a plastic texture. Chicken was tough, you should be using thighs instead. Bread was super oily and lackluster.Overall a lousy alfredo!Overall dissatisfied, maybe it was just a bad day.

We got pepperoni pizza (cheese pie pizza with pepperoni topping). It was pretty good, but it was a little floppy. I definitely had to eat it with two hands.

Stopped in for dinner. Ordered the ravioli, which were pretty large and very tasty. Ordered the strawberry mixed salad came with poppy seed dressing on the sides, asked for balsamic, which took a very long time to get to me. Pizza was brought out before I was able to finish my salad, after waiting for so long.Tried the cauliflower crust and did not care too much for it. Will return to try the regular crust since the pizzas were very flavorful.

Not to be co fused with the other goodfellas in the colony which at best meh. I thought I left a review here before bc I loved it so much. Anyways it's been good since it opened and I'm what you call a "pizza snob " . My go to is the veggie señor w pepperoni but their other dishes are very good as well - the pasta the salad w chicken literally have always loved what I order! I hope they never change like some pizzas spots tend to do by changing the quality of the ingredients. Highly recommend!
