FOOD INSTAGRAM: @northtx.gemz**** WHAT THEY'RE KNOWN FOR: good quality drinks and matcha. THE VIBE: lowkey hipster, aesthetic, modern boutique connected to this coffee shop. Very green and artsy! PRICE: $10+ for one drink!!! WOULD I COME BACK? Yes. ****Overall Rating: 6/10- Okay first of all I did see a good boy here look at that cute dog!!!! - The matcha quality was pretty good but over $10 for a drink is crazy. - I mostly docked off points because the strawberry matcha was WAYYYY overly sweet. Maybe I should've asked for half sweet but even then the strawberry flavor was nonexistent. I didn't really enjoy it. Maybe a plain matcha would've been better.

I recently discovered this gem while driving home from church and decided to stop in. The space has a truly unique concept--it's a coffee shop that also doubles as a clothing store, with a variety of home goods on display as well. It's not often you come across such an eclectic mix, and I found it to be a refreshing change. When I asked the staff for a recommendation, a friendly young woman suggested I try the Spanish Latte, which was absolutely delicious. Now I understand why it's their most popular drink--it had the perfect balance of flavors, creamy yet bold. I paired it with "The Jess" breakfast burrito, and it did not disappoint. The burrito was fresh and made to order, with vibrant, high-quality ingredients that really stood out. You can tell they prioritize flavor and freshness. As for the clothing and home goods, the vibe leans toward a trendy, hipster-fashionista style--perfect if that's your aesthetic. If you're into that type of style, you might find yourself picking up a few items on your visit. The seating area is comfortable and offers a nice place to relax, making it a great spot to linger and enjoy your drink. My only minor downside was the parking situation--it's a bit quirky and can be a challenge at times, but it's not a dealbreaker.Overall, it was a pleasant and unique experience. I'm looking forward to coming back, perhaps to explore their clothing selection next time!

This is a beautifully soothing space close to downtown. I loved the coffee menu and cozy, lush velvet coaches.I loved the curated gift shop full of plants, clothing, home goods and scented candles and soaps. It was very quiet during my visit and I had a bit of a wait until the barista came from out back, but overall this is a lovely place to take a deep breath, slow down and sip a hot cup of coffee.

I needed to productive and decided to give this spot a go! Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly face, Ashley. She reassured me that if there was anything I needed assistance with that she could be of service. I ordered a regular coffee with oat milk and added lavender. All of their syrups are made in-house which makes a world of difference. I also ordered a butter croissant as they did not have any donuts. (I was a little bummed because I was really craving one). Nonetheless, my coffee and pastry was delightful. After my productive session, I got a chance to check out their shop which is called Hey Koneko. They have several things to choose from. Ranging from bath and body items to plants. Definitely a neat concept and quaint coffee spot. I recommend checking them out. The music is also good. Mostly r & b and some hip hop.

This is one of the prettiest coffee shops in Dallas. It's not technically a full coffee shop because it's inside the vintage shop Koneko, but I love that you can browse while getting yourself a cup of coffee.I have mixed thoughts because I ordered their specialty latte that costs $12 with tax...which is kind of insane. $12 for a coffee?? It was really flavorful, but it was also just very very sweet. I would definitely come back and try their other drinks because I can see the potential.

This place is a hidden gem!! The Good Boy Cafe is located within the vintage shop Koneko. If you love to sit around live plants while you sip, then this is your spot. (Tip: Plants are also for purchase!!) If you love to shop for unique gifts and goods while you wait for your drink, then this is your spot. I'm a sucker for seasonal drinks, so today I tried the caramel cookie latte. It tastes just like it sounds. It was a treat! Glad I was able to try it before it leaves the lineup. What really got me vested in the vibe was learning that Koneko means kitten in Japanese. The owners love kittens. To top it off, there is such a memorable back story to the name "Good Boy Cafe". I can't retell the story the way the owner does it. I could not hold back the "Aaaawhhh" when it's said that all dogs are good boys. "Aaawhh"!Ooh I can't wait to try the Spanish latte with my next visit.

Good Biy Cafe is in a very charming boutique. I ordered a London fog latte with vanilla and lavender. Their vanilla syrup is made in house, and delicious. They also offer a variety of unique drinks that all look fantastic.

I had some time to kill after work before heading home so stopped by this place as it's walking distance from my office. It's connected to the nearby tattoo shop Koneko and has a very "chill-hipster-like" atmosphere. It' was very well decorated with art and animals heads/figured along the walls. Much of the space is actually dedicated to selling smaller trinkets, clothes, and plants, so it's a little cool to look around. However, it is true that the prices of their drinks are kind of high. I can only speak to the matcha latte, which I ordered. It seems like the standard size is a bit more on the larger size, which may justify the price, and I found my drink to be a little watered down per say + I've had more flavorful drinks.Ideally I would've picked the Spanish latte as it seems to be the more unique drink on the menu. However, they do not have decaf, and I didn't feel like getting more caffeine close to end of day.Overall it's a cool store ambient wise but as a coffee place, it's not the best in the area.

I bought some nice boots a while back that I wear often. Baristas are well trained so I get my lattes to look like this Naturally, I wander in there and I buy things to try only to end up liking them so of course here I am.
