Great food. Buffet style but charge by the pound. Butter chicken was awesome, I thought and son confirmed. So many things to choose from. Open Sat and Sun. Seriously 12 meats at least. Quail, fish ect available. I stuck to about six half pints. Bill was $50 which was a bit higher for three, but by my choosing to sample a lot. Smells and food were excellent. I'm going again soon.

You gotta get in before noon to have the best selection from their bulk menu items, but they have a good selection, nonetheless. If you do get some of their bulk curries, be wary of the bones in the pieces of meat. Their grocery section is small but has a decent section of the essentials.

Gloria kitchen was highly recommended by my manager for south Indian food. I was skeptical intially about it. Was passing by my high school the other day and found this place. We were surprised by the indian selection they had. The food was surprisingly good. And the people are great. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

We ordered takeout a few months ago after having Gloria's at a family function. Their food is so delicious--reminded me of a home cooked meal. I live an hour away, but made the trip because it is that good!!! I love their beef fry, chili chicken and aviyal! We will be ordering again this weekend! If you love South Indian/Kerala cuisine, you will love Gloria's Indian Kitchen!

I was pretty impressed with the dishes we bought. It's tricky to find Fish Moly that isn't too bitter or too bland. Gloria's was well balanced creamy perfection! I'm actually still salivating behind it. Another impressive dish we got was their plantain and black eyed peas thoren... it had everything you'd want in ethyaka thoren: just the right combo of spice, toothsome texture, and substance. The chicken roast/fry we got was just right and had the condensed oniony, tomatoey, paste-like masala you want when you fry it up at home. It's true, they are very nice also!Some of these you might think you make better and cheaper at home, some not... all of it was worth the price if you are too tired to whip it all up. :)Definitely satisfied my cravings for home food!

This is a South Indian establishment, grocery/takeout and catering. Half of the store is the grocery side and other half is the kitchen where you can pick up South Indian food by the pound. They keep the door open to the kitchen so you can see what is happening inside. Just ask the cashier up front what is available, not all carry out items will be available, and there is no schedule to know what will be available on each day. As a South Indian from Kerala, I guarantee that these are the best tasting, authentic, and fresh South Indian Kerala food available anywhere in Dallas.
