We were in Dallas for the weekend and some of our family wanted to go ice skating. Parking was not too bad for a Friday afternoon but make sure you look ahead of time for the closest parking garage because it was a little confusing finding the correct entrance. I didn't notice many signs directing what's the best entrance. When we got inside the rink was a lot smaller than I expected. This was my first time ice skating but I've been to a couple Dallas Stars hockey games and the rink is maybe a third of the size of an actual professional hockey rink. About $17 per person to skate and rent ice skates. You are able to bring your own ice skates if you have your own. They also have lockers cost 75 cents that you can use to store any items while you ice skate. They are good sized lockers. We were able to store 3 pairs of shoes (2 men size & 1 woman), a purse and two wallets. If you don't have change on you to rent a locker they do have change machines that take dollar bills.Overall, it was a lot of fun. For the price you pay you are able to ice skate the entire day but you're not allowed to leave to shop and comeback to ice skate again.

I brought my teenage daughters to ice skate today and the skates we rented were in horrible condition. I would not have rented them if I had seen them before paying. I would not allow my girls to wear shoes in that condition. The girls wanted to skate so we went ahead and put them on then headed to the rink. The rink was so melted that I considered not letting them on the ice for safety reasons. The mall was extremely hot which I am sure added to the ice melting. We will not go back to the rink even though the galleria is closer to home. I will make the drive to The parks mall in Arlington. It will be worth the trip.

We skated for nearly two hours. The rink is much smaller than decades ago, and they were repairing part of it the day we came (Tuesday), but prices were reasonable and we enjoyed exercising out of the hot Texas summer sun.

What a fun experience!!! We took our 3 and 4 year old daughters and they haven't quit talking about it ever since! It was borderline probably to old for the 3 year old, but she still enjoyed it.The 4 year old on the other hand, CRIED when we left. She did NOT want to leave! It was also so nice it wasn't very crowded! Made it super fun to use! I also want to give a big shout out to the staff. It seems like employees lately are all rude and grumpy, and the guys who worked here were SO NICE! We had to change our skate size multiple times and they were more than happy to help us out! Seriously, big shout out to those guys!Such a fun experience if you're able to take your family!

Not just during the Christmas season, this ice rink is a 'cool' place to come to all year round. In fact, I especially love coming here during the weekdays in escaping the blistering heat of our fabulous city!Nicely maintained is the ice in this rink. Yet, there are times of needing to be extra careful of the ice being very slippery by the melted ice from the sun shining through Galleria's enchanting glass ceiling!Friendly is the staff. Decently priced for skating times. Fine are their rental skates, though most regulars brings their own. A fun time it is for all ages, those skating and for those simply watching!CHEERS!

Terrible experience I went to this ice rink for a month and immediately got banned And Nobody will tell me why I got banned Or what I did to get bannedand from what I've noticed from going there for a month Some of the staff is rude and disrespectful. If I'm gonna pay $12 to go skate I would like to know what I did wrong and I would like to be treated better than what my experience was with this ice rink I rather go somewhere else then to come back here.

I saw a pair of eyeballs sliding around on this rink, but I shouldn't have been surprised. It was just some Eyes Skating.Massive ice skating rink right in the middle of the Galleria Dallas, where the whole of the mall can watch you fall over and break your wrist like my mother once did at one of these things. They also have one in the Houston Galleria as well and I think they're both comparable - probably owned by the same company considering that they both look almost identical. It's not cheap but what in the mall is?Having one of these in here makes the whole thing seem like Central Park or no, let's face it, more like the Mall of America in Minneapolis. I'm all for it but it does make the area a little cold LOL and if you are showing as much skin as Barbie and I do then that's not necessarily a good thing.

Staff very unprofessional, rink is a melted pool of water. Not safe and not worth the hassle. Sad because I remember this being such a good experience as a kid. Hopefully gets fixed.

Way smaller than a hockey rink, a bit more pricey than I was expecting for a small rink, around $20/person. It was really warm inside the mall and a lot of people there so puddles formed really quickly. When some people fell they got drenched. It was really crowded and a little nerve wracking because people kept falling and it got really packed at certain points. The lockers were available for 3 quarters and were pretty spacious so that was nice. I'm not sure about their policies but it seemed like if you brought your own skates you could skate for free. The rink monitor seemed really nice and kept an eye out for everyone. I saw him help a number of kids who had bad falls. Not too bad of a place to skate I guess but if I'm going to pay, I'd rather go to a big hockey rink for the same price.

40 dollars to enter, and another 75 cents in quarters to house your shoes in a locker. Seems like no big deal, but the only atm close enough to the rink wouldn't work for us, and you can't get cash back from any of the restaurants surrounding the rink. So we spent that 40 bucks and 30 minutes of trying to find change, only to be without a place to lock our belongings/shoes away, and it didn't seem worth risking getting our stuff stolen with all the commotion of groups of strangers and children running around everywhere. So we just returned the skates. To quote my dear boyfriend on the matter, "Damn, I feel like I just got scammed."We were super excited to skate. This is what my boyfriend wanted to do for his birthday, and we only just found some time to celebrate two weeks after the fact. Bummer. I'm sure skating is a great time, but we wouldn't know. If you're going with one companion, bring $40.75 in quarters.
