The absolute best place to work away from home in Dallas. I love the ambiance and all the little nooks. Beautiful outdoor area. And yummy snacks.

DRINKSSpiced Brown Sugar Latte (iced) - Drink was alright. Nothing super special to it. There is a smidge of the spice taste but would've liked a bit more. Coffee isn't too bad though!VIBESReally nice place with ambient, dimmer lighting. Seems like a great place to get work done. Plenty of seating from tables to a long table with chairs to little nook areas. It was crowded when I came around 1:30 PM on Monday.SERVICE Service was great! Everyone was really nice and drinks came out fast!PARKINGYou can either park along the side (parallel parking) or pay for parking. A bit hard to navigate.

It's a nice space within the Virgin hotel with a beautiful patio with seating and plants right outside. Some variability in the skill of the baristas but one young lady made me a wonderful cappuccino last week. All their syrups are from bottles.

Discovered this coffee shop through the Dallas Coffee Shop passport, and it's a nice coffee shop located inside of the Virgin Hotel in downtown Dallas! For parking, you can park on the street for free or pay extra to pay in the hotel lot. The interior design of the place is super fun; I like how much character the place has and it's very nicely decorated. The service was nice and I got one of their summer specials, the mixed berry matcha! It was yummy and I liked the syrups that they used. The coffee shop is medium-sized and it seems like it's used by hotel guests or people who WFH to do their work or take meetings. The noise level is medium to medium-loud, so it's good if you're wanting to meet up with people or don't mind some noise. I don't know if I'd recommend studying there if you're trying to buckle down and focus; the tables are kind of small and the chairs were cute but not the most comfortable to sit in. But I think it's nice if you're looking for a place in downtown to do light work or socialize.

WHAT I ORDERED: Summer Berry Matcha Latte, Southern Wedding Cake LattePARKING: Limited street parkingINSIDE: This coffee shop is inside the Virgin Hotel with plenty of seating inside and on the patio. The barista was friendly and the drinks came out relatively quick. Not only do they have coffee drinks but food items are available to order.THE FOODS/DRINKS: Both drinks were delicious and part of the May 2024 specials! The raspberry in the matcha was flavorful and not overpowering, complimenting well with the matcha. The almond in the wedding cake latte was present and gave it a nice nutty taste. Both drinks had their respective flavors balancing well among the drink and I look forward to seeing what future specials they have.

Cute hidden must go coffee shop!! I came here last Sunday for a latte and it did not disappoint. I got the teddy bear ice latte with oatmilk and cinnamon cold foam ($6) and my friend got the ice chai w soy milk($7). Both were great- they don't charge for milk alternatives which is really nice and they have so much indoor seating for working/studying or catching up with someone. Our barista was really friendly and made our drinks quickly. We loved how it wasn't too quiet, but also not super loud. It's located inside the Virgin hotel so street parking can be a little tight, but worth the visit for affordable good coffee!!

Very cool place to sit down and do some work. The coffee shop is a bit smaller than I expected from the photos and the coffee was good but nothing extraordinary.

Perfect place for WFH or if you're looking for a cute place to meet up with a friend/treat yourself!I came to Funny Library on a whim to take a few meetings and get some breakfast. Although there was music playing in the background, it did not bother me much and I was easily able to work!The service was excellent and the barista did a great job of offering me some recommendations. I ordered the Breakfast Tacos, which were filling and came with a delicious green salsa! I would definitely order it again. The basic black coffee that I drank was also great - no complaints!The inside of the coffee shop is super trendy and there are a variety of seating options. Parking is relatively easy as there is a lot right next to the hotel that the coffee shop is in. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Funny Library if you're in the area!

This place is a fun eclectic design and I would expect nothing less as it's a Virgin Hotel property. It has limited pastry options, could use a few more. Coffee was excellent and the vibe well it's relaxing and charged at the same time. Good place to read, chat or even just relax with a good cup of Joe or tea.
