SUPER FRIENDLY! LOVE THE VIBE HERE! I felt like I was back home in LA but with that Texas hospitality and kindness.They sale their in house coffee beans. Locally Handmade pottery too!Tons of indoor/ outdoor / patio seating! I grabbed a pour over and it was spectacular!Free parking on the side.LGBTQ friendly (flag displayed out front)Cute neighborhood!Great staff!

Coffee was good. Maybe a 7/10. Better than Starbucks for sure. Definitely not a 4.9 rating. Coffee is dark roast. There were no medium or ligjt roast options. Which would have been nice for a truley craft coffee experience. We got three drinks. The milk for all three drinks was steamedTogether and not textured well. So thendirst drink fktnall the foam and last drink was all liquid.

Peeps. I give it five stars for a few reasons. The staff is bubbly and the live stock on the walls is interesting to a city slicker like me. I wonder if they are real? Don't tell me. FCR has a good vibe in there and clearly pet friendly. What I really appreciate is the authenticity of the owner. He cares about what you think. Let him know PK sent you!

I had a wonderful experience here! The staff are very friendly and welcoming, taking great care of both the coffee and the customers! There's such a happy and positive vibe among everyone! I ordered a latte, and it was absolutely rich and flavorful!

Come for the coffee, but stay for the hospitality. Michael and his team are the nicest people you'll ever meet! If you want to feel part of a community where all is accepted, this is the place to be. Also, check out the back room! You never know what amazing artwork you'll see!

I have been pals with Wyatt, the head honcho, unofficial mayor of the cedars, since 1998 or so. Family gatherings. Road trips to Austin for concerts. Really good pals. I wouldn't review the place and give it highest marks if it was only ever Wyatt at the counter/roaster though... kinda recuse myself of so much bias. I review now, perhaps late, because Wyatt has stepped back a bit and lets other people work the store when he isn't there, and... theyre great! Everyone seems to embrace the philosophy of old coffee shops: stimulating conversation. I have now three or four times come in to see Wyatt, found him gone, and stumbled into conversation with the new hires, or other customers, and I truly feel compelled to testify that the legacy endures, the empire remains, and the citizens prosper.

Coffee was amazing - no frills just clean and tasty drinks. The staff were really friendly too and the back was nice and cozy to hang out and enjoy your drink. The place isn't in the nicest area but the coffee made up for it. You won't be disappointed!

Fantastic gem in Dallas I highly recommend to anyone who's looking for a unique atmosphere; The space itself has a cozy+industrial vibe. I rarely write reviews but do so when not only do I really enjoy a place but meet owners who exude knowledge and care about all facets of their brand.If you are looking for a worthwhile place for coffee in Dallas I suggest you take whatever detour necessary and make it to Full City Rooster.

I stayed in Dallas for the eclipse and needed a good coffee shop, lucky for me I stayed at an AirBnB a block away from this place! I didn't buy any of their beans but their coffee was incredible and service was lovely, it felt like an intimate shop where everyone really knew each other. The art on the walls was incredible and I LOVE that they had free Narcan as a means of harm reduction in their community. LOVE this place! Definitely swing by if you're in the area!

On 11/3/2024 we hosted a baby shower brunch for 40. I was in charge of making the coffee. Everyone was coming back for seconds and thirds. And asking where the coffee was from. Full City Rooster and Michael now have 40 new customers.
