The brick pavilion has restrooms and a snack shop. To the left is a giant playground.
The referees all do a great job communicating with the coaches and the players.
Soccer fields are clearly marked and the nets are sturdy and well maintained.
Full moon wrong park. On to the next
Ample soccer fields and there are great lights if you have a night game.
Playground in front of the restrooms
The pavilion includes 4 picnic tables and a huge shaded area for playing games or dancing. ;)
View of the two in one playground from the pavilion

Frontier Park is a great place for your kids to play on the playground or play sports! There are baseball and soccer fields for all ages. There is a permanent team bench located on each side of the soccer field. Plenty of parking. Beware: lots of golf carts in some of the parking spots! There are bathrooms inside the brick pavilion and a snack shop where you can buy hot dogs, drinks and chips and candy. I'm not sure how often the bathrooms are cleaned. There are 3 regular and 1 larger handicapped stall in the women's restroom. There was lots of paper toweling on the floor and the large stall had a clog. But, I guess that's normal when it's a public restroom and lots of kids use these facilities. And to be fair, today's game was at 5:45, so it probably saw a lot of action during the entire day. No shade so you need to wear a hat or bring an umbrella. The referees all seem to be doing a great job. In Covid times, I guess they are asking teams at the end of the games to not make a bridge that the kids can go under. They ask each team to wave and clap at each other.

Great park! I absolutely love this area of Texas because of all the parks. Very clean, nice area, has a splash pad, love the recycled music area. My daughter loved it! Nice amount of swings! Wasn't crazy about the wood chip ground, but it won't keep me from going back. They have a nice pond next to the playground.

One of the nicest parks in the country. At this time some of baseball fields are turf and some are not. The soccer field is turf. The fields are only open certain hours and are patrolled. A new high school football stadium and nanotorium are under construction which effects parking. Most everyone is friendly but some complain when parked is locked up. Tough to keep a place nice when it's not patrolled. There are extrior practice fields and walking paths around the parkConcessions take cash or credit. Friendly service staffed mostly by volunteers.

Some friends of mine chose Frontier Park in Prosper to host their kid's birthday party. The park has two lighted soccer fields, 9 practice fields, three lighted baseball fields, two lighted softball, two sand volleyball courses, and a walking trial with a pond. The part was at the pavilion which is across from the pond and next to the Windmill Playground and splashground. The splashground is a concrete are with fountains that shoot water from the ground. The Windmill Playground is right next to it and has all the standard things you'd expect from a playground.Overall, I was impressed with the facility but there were some issues I think they need to address. First, there is no fence between the pond and playground. The pond is probably a few hundred feet away from the playground but you always see that person/person(s) who are reading/talking and 30 minutes later don't know where there kid is.Next, there are no restrooms by the pavilion and its a considerable walk to the nearest one so I ended up driving. The restroom was a little dirty (paper towels on the floor, etc) so I think it probably needs to be maintained a little more regularly.Aside from the pavilion there are no trees or other shade structure except for the breezeways where the restrooms are. So be sure to bring plenty of sun screen and water. The last issue was with scheduling. My friends scheduled the time and I saw their reservation posted however a group that had rented the pavilion for later in the day showed up 3 hours early and took over half the pavilion. A few times we saw kids from that party coming over and taking candy and snooping around. Not really the facility's fault except they probably should have had someone come out at least once to check on everything. I don't think I saw one city vehicle there the entire time we were there which was about 3-4 hours.

Head north on the tollway until it ends, pass by a bunch of corn fields until you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, take a right, and you'll find this little gem of a park. It's a bit of a trek from pretty much anywhere, but it's similar to Hope Park in Frisco, just smaller and without the crazy crowds. One thing it has that Hope Park doesn't is lots of shade, particularly in the area called the "Tot Lot" for the 2-5 y.o. crowd. Another useful but hard to find feature is a set of 4 baby swings adjacent to each other (most places have just 2, making it hard to stay in the same place if you're with a group of other kids). The Tot Lot has the standard short slides, places to climb up and down stairs, and a little bridge. Overall this is a fun, shady place to play. There's a separate playground for bigger kids that looked like lots of fun for that age group. There is a pavilion that looked big enough to accommodate a small birthday party. There are restrooms right next to the Tot Lot. Allegedly there is a splash area, but I didn't see it. This place is worth a try when it's too hot to not have shade.

We love Frontier Park! My 3 year old really enjoys the play area, especially because it's covered so it's not on fire during the Texas summer. My dogs also enjoy all the walking trails and pond. Very clean facilities and super family friendly.

My son plays baseball here. It is probably the cleanest city owned baseball park I have ever been to in North Texas. The baseball stadium chairs have seat backs so that is a plus.

Outstanding fields but inexcusably bad parking. They keep expanding their fields but they don't add any additional parking which is a huge frustration. If anything they reduced parking this year by roping off some areas.
