It can be a little tricky to find. Come in off of Hensley, turn in and follow the curve to the right.

I'm so glad we came across this park!! It's a giant castle with so many bridges and stairs and little lookout points. Tons of benches and swings too. We'll definitely be back!!

Gorgeous park in Wylie. My family and I were in the area and wanted a quiet place to walk with our little one and take advantage of this unreal spring weather. This is one of the cleanest, biggest, and versatile parks I've seen in DFW. There is a huge walking trail encircling the fields which looked to be set up for soccer games for the weekend. Definitely something for all ages. The kids play area was incredibly large and had lots of slides/swings/towers, etc. There's also sand volleyball!I truly appreciated the clean public restrooms that were well maintained. Highly recommend you check it out if you're in the Wylie area!

Great place for kids of all ages to play.My only complaint in the realm of facilities is the snack bar. Staff are always friendly. Prices are fare. They just need to learn that even sodas have a shelf life. Bought a diet coke last game season and tossed it out. Syrup had separated from the water rendering it nasty. Hoped it was a one time occurrence. Diet Dr. Pepper tonight was cold, wet, and old. Based on the code on this can, it was produced Feb 1st of this year.13 week shelf life.

What's so special about this place is that a mom wanted a cool park in Wylie for her son to play at. At the time, we had very few choices in parks, and none stood out as fantastic in any way. She made it her mission, gathered a TON of community support and volunteers, did fundraisers, and more work went into this than I'll ever know. Also, this same mom has organized volunteers annually to maintain the park in the spring. Her son is off in college now, and I am thinking that the city has taken over the maintenance now? I do not know. There are now restrooms, shade structures, and it's still the coolest place in town to take your kids. Thank you, Anne H., for all of your work to make this happen.

Took our kiddos to play at the kids park area. What a great time playing tag and just being outdoors. Small clean up of trash would be great and then a board is coming loose near some steps which is dangerous as my husband and I almost fell from not seeing it sticking up. Some wear and tear, here and there but overall, great equipment for the kiddos to explore and even a toddler area. Walking/running/biking trail, soccer fields, baseball fields and lots of open space. Located behind Wylie High School & Stadium.

As a Garland local, I need places nearby for my kid to blow off steam and get outdoors. I spotted this park on Yelp and it was so close, we had to check it out. This place looks like a giant castle! Once inside, you can see all the special installations, like a music feature, a sandbox, little soft bridges, not to mention the castle maze itself. The entire playground is fenced in with only one entrance/exit. Outside the entrance is a covered area complete with tables and seating for picnics or relaxing while the kids play. Next to the larger castle structure is a smaller structure for toddlers. This was greatly appreciated for the mom who as a little one who wants to live as large as the big kids. I didn't see a restroom nearby. When I turned into the parking lot of the playground, I thought the address was wrong. Keep going, the playground is in the back!

Very nice, great shade in some spots! Some of the wood walk ways do need to be hammered down (I almost tripped over) but over all good spot.

I would have rated a four star, however there was high grass and weeds. It is a nice park and I like that it has only one way in and out of the park. Helps keep track of the children. My grandkids loved it. I didn't see a restroom or water fountain nearby, however they still had fun.
