I had the regular spicy pho. Loved the broth and the beef. I've never had thick noodles in pho before and it was a little odd, not bad...just different. The pork egg rolls were good, nothing crazy.

A very casual place with a very westernized and fast-food like layout of the menu. There is not much variety but it's got the basics- beef, chicken, seafood, vegetable pho. It even has "spicy hue pho" aka bun bo hue and some rice plate and vermicelli options. I ordered their egg rolls and spicy hue pho with chicken. Egg rolls came hot and well-seasoned. The broth tasted okay, but was a bit heavy on the fish sauce and could've had more depth. The portion size is decent, but I did find the price to be a tad bit pricey considering the area. Not a bad option if you're close, but you could find better if you ventured out a little further.

Pho is overpriced here. Let's get that out of the way. That was a major (but not the only) factor for this rating. As for the pho itself, it was okay beef pho. I felt it was a fair amount of meat. You get about 3 different types of meat with the beef pho, including Vietnamese meatballs. Some may or may not like this. My finance hated it and gave it all to me. I don't mind it, but it's not my first choice of beef either. I'm not sure how much you could customize the bowl, I didn't ask. Most pho places have numerous combinations of beef pho, as not everyone likes the same cuts of meat, etc. This one seemed like it just forces the customer to get these 3 meats and that's it. The fried egg rolls were good and they provided traditional fish sauce (instead of Americanized sweet chili sauce or some other crap that you get at panda express or pei wei) I respect this. However the egg rolls weren't piping hot like they are at another pho place that I frequent...Unlike the meat in the bowl, they were a bit stingy with the herbs. This is a pet peeve of mine with pho joints. No cilantro and just a little bit of Thai basil. Bean sprouts were plentiful but they are also cheaper than dirt. No little plates/saucers at the table to put your Sriracha or hoisin sauce into if you want to eat it more traditionally. You have to ask for a little plastic cup. Why not just have it out? Basically zero condiments at the table as well. This all might seem overly nitpicky but it does all add up. Also, if you eat Vietnamese often, this is all pretty standard for any authentic Vietnamese restaurant. As I mentioned earlier, the worst part of all was the price, given the shortcomings on top of it. If everything was spot-on, I might be able to forgive the price and give it a higher rating, but they're just over charging at this point. They just want to see what they can get away with by charging white people more money, since it's not in an Asian area. $15+ tax for a regular sized bowl of pho is dumb. Won't be back to this one, I just happened to be in the area. If you live near by and don't want to venture out, go for it. This place wasn't horrible. But there's much better out there.

This was my first visit, and everything was wonderful. The most encouraging aspect is that the restaurant was full of people enjoying beautiful, looking dishes... Service was good, food was excellent.I will make the trip again from Mckinney to enjoy this cuisine again!

I've been coming here for maybe 8 years? The beef Pho is consistently top notch. We all need to support family owned restaurants like these. Food came out piping hot in less than 3-4 minutes. Highly recommend!
