First thing to note. This is still an indoor smoking establishment. That have partitions but you are gonna smell like an ashtray when you leave. Our food and drinks were good but when we ordered a second round our waitress switched over with another and told us she ordered our drinks but failed to tell the waitress taking over so we had to eventually flag someone down to find out where our stuff was.

American bar food - and it's really good! The Flips burger is my fave. Definitely try their chili and chili dogs...so good. Service is great - ask for Cory!! Environment is friendly. They have a smoking side and patio, plus a non-smoking side.

Came for dinner. I wanted something quick, so I ordered the tenders and fries with Buffalo sauce on the side. The meal came out pretty quickly.So, on first look, the tenders looked really good fries, not so much. Fries I believe are fresh cut, so they are kind of soggy. But I mean it's to be expected. The tenders were pretty big, which was good. The only issue I had with the tenders was that they had absolutely no flavor at all. I've been to the flips in the Fort Worth area, and they had flavor. Regardless, they were big, so I ate a few and ended up taking some for later. The meal set me back about 14 dollars which was og for the amount.Location 8 out 10 clean and niceTenders 4 outa 10 no flavor but big piecesFries 4 outa 10 fresh cut fries kinda soggy but had flavor. All I all I'd come back I wanna try the burger next time

We called ahead to see if they had a Bloody Mary bar, we were told yes. When we arrived we found out they had bloody Mary's, but not the DIY Bloody Mary bar we were expecting. The migas was very average. Basically scrambled eggs with black beans. The black beans had no flavor and clearly came out of a can. The chiliquiles and queso were good! Our bloody Mary's tasted good even though it wasn't what we wanted. I gave two stars because our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The manager checked in on us too, and was very kind.

Didn't know how this review was going to turn out after reading the previous reviews. Determined that I would review on this visit alone. Attended a college alumni get together at Flips in Grapevine to watch a football game. It was great seeing fellow grads. As has been reported in other reviews, upon entering Flips, I could smell the smoke. It was not overwhelming but definitely noticeable and disappointing. I would have thought that after negative reviews on this very point, ownership would have done something, or something more effective by now. The glass separator is definitely not sufficient. Maybe, ownership will invest in a more effective air handler for the smoking area. We were in a private room about as far from the smoking area as possible and could still smell the smoke. We did close the doors to the room and basically forgot about it. There was one TV screen in the room. The only problem was that we were told there was no way to route the sound from the TV to the speakers in the room without having also aired in the rest of restaurant. Frustrating, but we found an app that could stream the broadcast over several cell phones. I had the beef fajita nachos. They were plentiful and although not very warm, they were sufficiently warm. They were typical of what is expected at a bar. I found them acceptable with plenty of melted cheese, beef, pico de gallo, and sour cream. The star of the show was our server Nicki. She did an exceptional job in keeping orders straight and delivered. She was very friendly and diligent. Great work Niki!!The smoke and the speakers were the major distractors. The beef fajita nachos did well. Again, the star of the entire day was our server, Niki. She is amazing.

Sunday about 1:30p we were immediately greeted by Kat the bartender . We ordered the Santa Fe salad, & the turkey avocado melt-it came with fries. We had 2 beers, 2 mixed drinks $ 42. Also, wanted to thank Noah. Kat got pretty busy on a football Sunday afternoon & we didn't really care for the vinaigrette & Noah gladly exchanged it for the blue cheese dressing-Very good. We will return.If smoke bothers you-don't go to the bar area. Smoking is allowed.

If smoking is your thing, go to Flips Grapevine. I didn't think smoking was allowed inside anywhere. My mistake. Service was good. Food was ok. Wings were overdone. I do recommend Flips in Fort Worth! Great food. No smoking.
