In 2021, I said... "best biscuits in town." I'm pretty sure that still holds as of now. The biscuits are fluffy, buttery and paired with the best spreads: salted whipped butter, golden natural honey and sweet seasonal jam. You always need to start with an order of these here. Heck, you could go and just get coffee or a cocktail with them. You'd be happy with your breakfast! We were last there with a group so we had an order of biscuits, pimento cheese and entrees. I tried their chicken biscuit sandwich. It had a fried chicken thigh, kale apple slaw and honey. It was delish! Surprisingly, I also really enjoyed the pimento cheese. I'm not a typical pc gal, but this one seemed to have more flavor and heat to it. Overall, we had a really lovely brunch! The entire party seemed happy with the food, service (shout out to Melody for all the water refills and being patient with us!), ambiance and (of course)... the biscuits!

I tried Fixe for a Saturday brunch. Simply put, the food and drinks are good. We tried the shrimp and grits, French toast, and fried chicken. I'd order each item again. The blueberry mimosa was good too! I wish they had some holiday themed menu items and cocktails. There were several reservation times available days before Saturday. It's family friendly and there's space for small private events. I haven't enjoyed many brunches in FW, so I'm happy I tried this place. I'll be back.

Me and wife came to Fixe to celebrate our anniversary and they did not disappoint. Due to the special occasion we were give a complimentary glass of champagne as we sat down and that was the start of great service. It was Friday night but it wasn't a big crowd. The ambiance gives off a warm comfortable feeling. That also may be due to the open kitchen which I personally love. When you go there you must ordered the biscuits. They are warm, moist and everything you think of when it comes to a biscuit. Not to mention they have a jam and fresh honey to top them with. Chef kiss amazing my favorite thing there by far. While eating biscuits we ordered our drinks which were amazing as well. I ordered a play on an old fashioned style drink and my wife got something with cucumber both were really good. Our entrees were both fish I got mine with grits that was cooked perfectly as well as a seasoned and flaky fish. I highly recommend the Brussel sprouts as well to share as a side. They are well seasoned crispy and very flavorful. We ended our meal with crème brûlée that made me wish I could eat it forever. 5/5 highly recommended between the service food and prices I think it's a great date night spot.

Second time coming here and wanted to give another chance since it's been over a year since I tried it last. Waited over 15 minutes to get greeted. Drinks were not correct and the food took another 45 minutes for an overpriced mcdonalds sausage biscuit for 5x the price. Clearly sat on the expo for 20 minutes by the time it came to the table we were starving and tried it but couldn't stomach finishing it. Ambiance is great. Service horrible. Better food options at a drive thru or anywhere else in clearfork. Will not be coming back again.

Let's start with the good. The ambiance in this place is great. Absolutely love the interior, romantic grown folks vibe, love it. Service was also great. Our waitress did a good job and from the service I saw at the other tables this was standard so service is on point. Now the food was a different story. The biscuits were top tier, $12 for 3 and I did not feel scammed they were that good. Everything else while presented nice was not good at all. I ordered the redfish, which came grilled and served on top of grits with a corn salsa on top. The fish was ok but bland, the grits were horrible. Now granted I saw white beans mentioned but I thought they were an additional side. Not once ever in my life wld I have thought the beans would be mixed with the grits. Not only were they in the grits but they were not fully done they were hard. It was horrible. My hisband got the chicken. Surprise it was fried thighs and were very fatty so you got these random pieces of fat in ur mouth while eating. I will for sure try back during brunch as that menu is much better than the dinner menu. But I was very disappointed in our entrees this visit.

Slower service than usual, but the food makes up for it all. I tried The Vegetarian and it was amazing! Their biscuits and salads with grilled chicken are to die for as well, everything was delicious!!

The ambiance was soothing and upscale. The shrimp and grits were good with a side order of bacon. Now, the bacon topped off my brunch craving. The shrimp needed its own cajun gravy since it is a southern cuisine and mostly credited to the bayou area. Just grilled shrimp didn't really give off the ',viola' affect. The server, I think Trent, was excellent. I hate I didn't remember his name. He was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. I just know he drove from Bedford (shame on me for not remembering his name). Anyway, he was great! All of the servers seemed to love what they were doing. They each cruised with a smile on their face. I will probably try dinner next time.

It was just "okay". We ate there tonight and while the menu sounds fantastic, the execution at least for mine and my Wife's meals was just a little lack luster. My redfish was okay, the Carolina Gold rice was pretty good except when you got an unsuspecting overcooked black eyed pea in the mix that was quite chalky. Portion size was okay if the dish was fantastic, but it wasn't so honestly, as it was it was probably a $23-25 entree, but not $30+. My Wife's vegetarian plate (she isn't vegetarian but LOVES her starches) was hit and miss. The Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes were a hit, but the faro seemed to just be on the plate taking up space. We did get biscuits for the table and they did not disappoint. They were VERY good and probably the star of the evening for me. Service was again, just okay. Our server seemed to forget about us between us ordering drinks and biscuits and then never really coming back to get our order until flagged down. Then when the meals came out, one of our party got the incorrect thing delivered, and it had to go back, and another just didn't get their plate for 4-5 minutes until after everyone else. Again, if this was something like a Chili's or whatnot, those kind of things are expected to a certain degree. But they shouldn't be happening when entrees are $35-45 each and it is a slow Wednesday night. Was it good, yes. Was it worth the money for the food and service we received, not really.

Biscuits are excellent but otherwise the experience is underwhelming. Definitely do not have a big reservation here, they require minimums and it is above what most groups will meet so you're on the hook for a lot at the end. Our waitress also did not do a very good job likely because she knew gratuity was already included.
