I rarely give five star reviews But even more so give five star views over Six years this place rocks. The ambience is great. Food service is exceptional and consistent Frank the owner is exceptional and kudos to him and how he made this business great if you're in the area, this is the place to goThey have the best Seafood with quality and fair price. ,,Frank... job well done.

I am giving this place a 4 - but I will say that I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. The food was okay - fairly decent - but nothing to write home about or even promote another visit from my point of view. The place was clean - the people/staff were friendly enough - but none of them were what I would call excellent at customer service. They were doing a job - and they did it fine but with that same perspective - it's a job and I'll do it. I never felt the service was outstanding or that anyone was really happy to be there. The food was hot and fresh and tasted okay - but in this area - I can think of many places that have same or better - so I won't plan to return.

Did you miss us? Its been years since we ate here and way overdue. Place hasn't changed; great service and food. We got the 3 catfish filet with fries and one crab cake with coleslaw. We split the meal and had plenty of leftovers. The Wed special looks pretty good so we need to come for lunch. We first ate at the Plano location and need to get back there as well.

We were in Dallas for 5 days 12/3-12/8 to visit my son and grandson. I discovered the Fish Shack on Yelp while searching for raw Gulf Coast oysters. Living in Reno, we have no access to Gulf Coast oysters. We went in on Wednesday afternoon and were lucky enough to have the owner, Frank, as our server at the bar. He said he has a delivery of fresh oysters every two days. He was delightful to talk to which made this discovery so much better. We had a dozen raw gulf coast oysters with some of the coldest beer I've had in a while. Everything was exactly what this Texas girl likes. Plenty of saltines, oysters, cocktail sauce and horseradish. They were so good that we went back a second time the next day. Then a third time on Friday. We also sampled the hush puppies which were wonderful. The fried shrimp, fried oysters and French fries were also delicious. I think you can see I was totally taken with the Fish Shack and that it will become a must go to every time I come to Dallas. Do yourself a favor, discover the yummy for yourself.

Greasy fish and oysters. Beware they only use corn meal no seasoning and no flour to soften the crunch and chunks of the caked on cornmeal. I called for a refund and was told come pick up cash when I paid via card. Plus I drove 15 minutes to get this bland greasy food! Will never recommend this place nor patronize again!

Oh-My-God y'all! This place is the BOMB! Food is awesome, staff is great and the atmosphere is off the freaking chain!!!

Everything went well. Sorta glad the restaurant we went to was closed on Lemon Ave so we drove around I googled Good Fish Place AND Walla.I ordered 2 fish filets with 3 butterfly shrimps coleslaw and hush puppies that made my day so delicious not soaked in dark grease like some do and they weren't miniature the shrimp were a good size plus not rubbery cooked perfectly the filets we moist and the crust was loose on the fish. Live in Irving but we shall be here often. Hubby enjoyed his catfish po'boy and delicious French fries.

Best seafood north of the gulf coast. Great place, try the " Grants Platter " a real feast of shrimp, crab, potato's and corn.
