Fish N Tails Oyster Bar

I visited Fish N Tails Oyster Bar in Richardson, TX on Friday, 6/28/24, around 4 PM. I ordered:*Strawberry Peach Frozen Margarita *Aguachile Verde*Dozen of Oysters (Happy Hour Deal)*Bowl of Shrimp & Sausage GumboThe frozen margarita tasted great! The aguachile verde had an amazing flavor and paired well with tortilla chips. The oysters were fresh and delicious, especially with hot sauce and cocktail sauce. The bowl of gumbo was decently fine. The customer service was a little slow but still friendly. It took some time to be helped at the front counter. The inside of the restaurant was spacious. Each table had a huge variety of different sauces to choose from. Overall, the food was good. This place is worth checking out.

Lewisville location let me down but the chef at the 75 location understood the assignment. We sat at the bar and Luis was our server. He was so cool and knowledgeable. He rocked that bar as it was super busy on a Sunday afternoon. He is a well oiled machine! They have a live band as well. Great atmosphere! Ordered the salmon trio and calamari. Salmon was on point and redeemed my faith in the place. It was cooked nicely and had shrimp and crab topping in a cream sauce. My kinda dish right there! Calamari was just rings. Not a ton of flavor but that's what the sauce is for. It was delightfully delicious. I ate it because I paid for it. Ha! I prefer the variety with spikes and all. My friend had the crawfish and I tried some. They were the best I ever had. They were good size, juicy and packed tons of flavor. Perfect in flavor and spice. A hit for sure!

Went for lunch with a client. The service was quick and friendly. The catfish was fresh not swai. The shrimp were fried perfectly. Clean and had plenty of hot sauces to choose from. Atmosphere was lively and fun. Will definitely return.

Excellent! People are upbeat and work well together . The food is excellent and bring new friends on a weekly basis . This place is a win win ! Lunch specials are fantastic! This is by far a go to place .

Oysters are fresh yummy & good price. Coleslaw boring, not creamy enough. Tartar sauce was horrible, runny and bland!! Onion rigs are great!

Ordered their pineapple salmon for pickup after reading reviews and hearing that it was the best salmon in town. No lies told there. The sauce was sweet and buttery, the salmon was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection, and the rice and veggies were very good. No complaints! I will go back to try other dishes, as well as to pick up the pineapple salmon again

Visited this restaurant for dinner on a Tuesday and the crowd was lite which was nice. The music was extremely loud. I tried the grilled salon and veggies and lemon butter sauce! Very delicious.I also tried the salmon with the pineapple sauce---it's super sweet and very good The customer service isn't the best but I enjoyed the food.

Fish N Tails is always a good place, to invite a fellow lover of seafood to lunch!From Ceviche to Fish Tacos, Combo Platter & more, this place is pretty damn good!Heck if all you want is shrimp by the lbs. they got it!My wife loves their Mango Margarita too

I had the tilapia combo with shrimp and crab, served with rice and veggies. The tilapia was out of this world, very flavorful seasoned just right. The rice with lemon butter cream sauce was perfect. The shrimp that came with this (only 2 shrimp) had a strange taste, Matt have just been the seasoning. The crab was no more than a teaspoon of canned crab meat ( would be my guess). The price for it was $14.95 so I see why there was little crab and only 2 shrimp. The shrimp cocktail was awesome. Mixed with spicy tomato sauce.Overall I'll definitely be back. Overall prices were very reasonably.

I love this place for family dinners. My husband and I come here often enjoy the food greatly very satisfying. The service is pretty good always following up with their customers if they need anything else. Ambiance is always clean and have someone on the look out for their restaurant to look nice.
