I give the Feedstore a five star review. I ate three chopped beef sandwiches. They were so good I ate the wrappers too!Cowboy (my dog)

It's been years since I've eaten here, only because I live over an hour away. The last time it seemed more in the country, now it's all grown up around it. Inside it'sWhat you want to see from a great BBQ place rustic and inviting. Grab a tray place your order, you help yourself to the sides you order and free hot Rolls. I got the pulled pork basket which gets two sides. I got the green beans and dirty rice. The rice was good chick full of brisket. The beans were very good, some of the best I've had. The pulled pork has to be one of the best I've had, the meat was flavorful and moist. They offer a mustard based pork sauce and it was delicious. After the meal you can get self serve ice cream for 50 cents. Do your self a favor go here and try it

On the hunt for good bbq? Look no further. There are plenty of places you can go but they arent as good and as affordable! There is lots of seat yourself options and even comes with free ice cream! I tried some of the more "known" bbq places and honestly yhey where no better and more expensive. Staff is freindly, lots of free extras to add to your plate and AGAIN the free ice cream. Shop , dine, mom and pop. Add it to the Love List

Brought a team in to Dallas and wanted an authentic Texas BBQ experience. From the cafeteria style service to the family style seating, this place oozes the real deal. They are friendly and i really love going here when in town. And oh yeah, the food is very good! Well done and see you again!

My parents have been going here for years and I love when I get to tag along! It's not close to us, so we don't go as often as I want to, but it's so worth it. The potato salad is the best potato salad I have ever had and I always get a quart to bring home when I go.

Sign out front said "voted best burger" so I just had to fact check:-) Second time at Feedstore BBQ and I stand by my previous 4.5 star rating. Food is fast, we'll seasoned, and filling. I would agree it's the best non-chain (aka not as good as 5 guys) local burger in the immediate area but the burger isn't as good as their BBQ menu items. Plus you get soft serve at the end of your meal which my kiddo loves and is a nice way to complete a full meal. Some of the side dishes are too expensive ($3.50 for a single scoop of coleslaw) but overall the price points aren't bad considering the quality. We had two burger meals with sodas and kids rib meal for about $50. Additionally, staff comes by frequently to clear trash/ trays and wipe down counters. Lunch is a busy time but staff handles the rush well and seems to be an efficient team. Great job all around.

Food is good and the staff was friendly and helpful. The look and feel is a good Texas BBQ place.

After driving past this unassuming place for years, I finally decided to give it a try. Upon entering, it is bigger than it may seem from the street, because of expanded dining areas to the rear of the building.Feedstore follows a pretty standard BBQ format - counter service, pick your sides, grab a drink, and get a free frozen treat before leaving. So despite all of Southlake's allusions to being upscale, the Feedstore is a throwback to the town's real agrarian roots (most of Southlake was farms and pig farms decades earlier).As far as the food goes, I'd say my experience was about average. I had the smoked turkey, which was quite dry (admittedly, most turkey seems to be), so I piled on a spoonful of cole slaw on the sandwich which helped. Although the cole slaw was pretty dry too (not a lot of dressing). The mac & cheese was on the soupy side.I give Feedstore props for hanging in all these years, and maybe I just caught them on an off day. I'll try again and hope for a better experience.

Two things were left out of our order, so my wife had to spend 30 minutes driving back to get the missing sides.The worst part was that the onion strings were incredibly distasteful. Apparently I deserved the burnt reject onion strings. I would have paid money not to have experienced them.The quality control at this place is so bad that everyone should check their order to make sure that they are even trying to produce what we paid for.
