Family Pancake House

When walking into this restaurant at first it was just me and my friend waiting on two more guests and a 3 year old. I said "a table for 5" They grabbed 5 adult menus and took us to a big table, the table wasn't the problem it was the menus, I needed a kids menu for the kid. So I said "I'm sorry it's 4 and like a three year old" the man says oh okay I can sit you guys at a booth cause this one is automatic grated. It didn't matter I just wanted a kids menu, I tip more than 20% wherever I go but I don't need a huge table and it's more than just me. They sit me and my friend at a booth, the waitresses are talking to another table and ignoring my friend and I for at least 10 mins. The waitress comes over she's apparently the "assistant manager" and asks have we been helped and take my friend and mine drink order. When our drinks came our other guests were there, she took their drink orders and asked if we wanted to move to the big table, I said no. She walked off and I explained to them that if we move they will grat us. We weren't squished...she's 3. When she came back she said the table was going to be grat regardless because it was 5 of us. On their menu it says parties of MORE than 5 will be gratted. She then says verbatim "yes 5 or more". At this point the whole table is irritable, because you've ignored us because I didn't want to sit at a table I didn't need nor wanted to pay for, I asked for the manager and she said she was the assistant. We decided to leave.

Food was great!Service was awesome and i would encourage anyone to give a try. Highly recommended trying the french toast

I have been wanting to try out this little gem for awhile and was fortunate enough to be able to stop by today. The inside reminds me of the old style ihop from the early nineties. Service is fast and friendly. I ordered the two eggs, two pancakes and bacon. Eggs were perfection, I had them add cheddar cheese and jalapeños. I love that they bring you warmed syrup for the pancakes. I was a bit disappointed that the pancakes were very dense not fluffy. They weren't good. I hope to come back and try other menu items as they have a sign out front indicating they now have a new dinner menu. A great place with a diner feel minus one star for the pancakes.

I came with my girlfriend Sunday and let me tell you the food tasted excellent and it was cheap ! The food came out within minutes highly recommend for breakfast in the oak cliff area !

Terrible food! Canned food, no taste at all.Food is served cold.Worst restaurant I've ever been.Nothing against serves and cooks, I'm not coming back. ever!

My daughter and I eat there every weekend. We get the fluffy silver dollar pancakes, bacon and French fries! We love it here! We are basically apart of the family here. Friendly and very welcoming place to eat and enjoy breakfast!

Overall very good breakfast!! Not fancy place or out of the ordinary but everything was cooked well and enjoyed pancakes, eggs, crispy bacon and biscuits. I like how they toast their biscuits too! Solid breakfast!. Friendly service as well. We will be back.

This place is great. Good is great!! People are nice and friendly. Really enjoy this place and highly recommend. Especially everything on the breakfast menu. My wife and I go here all the time.
