Fajita Pete's - Carrollton

Not sure how this place stays in business. We had to wait 30 minutes for our meal. It would make sense if it was busy, but the restaurant was literally empty. We even got to hear another pissed off customer ordering take out talking about how long it took to get the food. Food was overly salty and after two bites, we just upped and left.

Fajitas were my favorite Tex-Mex dish growing up as a picky eater so I was excited to see that there was a local place that specialized in them and decided to try Fajita Pete's. The counters were covered with to-go orders waiting to be picked up and I could see the fire in the kitchen kick up in an otherwise empty restaurant when I entered. I bucked the trend and ordered the combination fajitas for 1 ($~16) to eat there. The staff was very attentive and gave good service for a place that seems to do most of their business to go. They even hooked me up with some metal tongs unprompted so my plastic fork wouldn't melt on the fajita skillet. Nice!I was thinking the price might be a bit steep when I ordered but didn't realize that the fajitas came with chips and salsa, guacamole, and a generous portion of cheese so those thoughts passed pretty quickly. I ended up with 3 fully stuffed Fajitas. It was entirely too much food for 1 meal that covered the entire 2 seater table for just me but pretty good overall. I just wish the for 1 portion was a bit smaller at a slightly lower price.The chips are the thinner side and very lightly salted (which I actually like) and I was missing lime slices which didn't think to ask for at the time but I think they actually make some pretty good fajitas. Fajita Pete's seems like a great option for anyone who wants to order in for the night and unique enough to be worth checking out at least for the novelty. They do have a limited menu of other items like burritos which are likely more reasonable when ordering for one but how could you not order their namesake instead?

I'm only giving 3 stars only because your paper thin, crispy awful tasting chips do not go well with your delicious foods.If you guys changed over to like the nacho chips Dallas Tortilla Factory sells or find out from Zocado's Tex Mex down the street on Hebron in Carrollton where they buy their delicious chips this would make the food experience much more worthwhile at your place.The chips you currently serve are so off putting & the good salsa ya'll serve just does not taste good with a thin crispy terrible chip....please change over to a more Authentic thicker real corn tortilla chip so that it real brings the meal together!!!Also the frozen Margarita yall serve is awful tasting too!The thickness is perfect but the flavor is just bad!Try another brand of Margarita mix because the one you sell (Carrollton location) just doesn't have a good either Tequila brand is bad or your mix is bad!!!

We ordered from here for an office baby shower. Simple process. Delivered. Inexpensive for the amount of food. Super flavorful! We had about 25 people and ordered enough for 30. Most people had seconds and we still had leftovers. Absolutely will order again for a big group!

Always great food and very convenient to grab and go! Prices are reasonable in comparison to most sit down restaurants. Meat is seasoned and tender! Sides are also great! Chips are the good kind and the salsa is just right. Service is fast!

First time here but won't be the last. Ordered online. Food hot and ready at time promised. Shrimp and steak fajitas were awesome. My sister had enchiladas and loved them

Ordered food the night before a family Christmas gathering. It was correct and ready on time when I went to pick up. Absolutely delicious! Everyone, old to young, loved it. Hardly anything left. The beef fajitas were tender. The chicken fajitas were tasty. The guacamole was fresh and yummy. Wonderful flour tortillas. Will definitely be ordering from them again! Thank you!

Casual, unpretentious Mexican food. Food got to us real quick and was still delicious. House sauce was tangy and spicy, but I couldn't tell you what it was made from. Whole building specced to get good food out fast.

The food is excellent and got Fajitas for 5! They are so friendly and nice with excellent service.
