This is a much belated review, better late than never! The Yelp Families Launch Party was held here back at the end of March 2019 and it was a showcase of the venue as well as various local vendors.The venue itself was great, very functional, held all of the people who attended comfortably, there are wonderful restrooms in the hallway past the large open area at the front where you would walk in, and there's even another small room towards the back. It's a great space with minimal design so that you can really make it your own!The event itself was great, thanks so much to Yelp, the sponsors, the vendors who participated, and everyone else involved! The kids had a great time and they had a blast with the lady walking around doing her light dance thing. There were plenty of food and drinks, desserts and cute breads, face painting, cupcake making, magic balloon artist, and more!

The Yelp Families Launch Party was held here in order to showcase the venue and also promote some local businesses. First of all, Event1013 is deceptively bigger than what it appears to be from the outside. The interior consists of a long, large open area in the front connected by a hallway to a smaller back room. There is also a cozy alcove/sitting area as well as restrooms between the 2 bigger spaces. The decor is minimalistic, yet modern and elegant creating an ideal backdrop for a special event. Event1013 and all of the sponsors did an excellent job to make this an enjoyable outing for the adults and kids alike.

Came here today for the Yelp Family Launch party and I really loved the space. As you walk into Event 1013 there is a huge open front room framed with original brick. The back area is smaller and has brick as well and between these two spaces are gorgeous mens and womens bathrooms. Literally I want these bathrooms in my house! Raided sinks, a sitting bench, glittery counter tops, candles, palms, and huge stalls. I know it is weird to say to check out the bathroom, but check out the bathroom! You will not want to leave--really!The event itself was great! Tons of things for the kiddos to do as well as for the bigger kiddos. I love that the space allowed for several food and drink booths in the front, face painting, cupcake making, and balloon animal making in the back. I think the only thing missing from the event was a dance party or something to welcome and round up the kiddos so they could've gotten to know each other.I think that this would be a wonderful spot for weddings, birthday parties, and graduations. I love that this spot is in downtown/historic Plano that is reviving itself and trying to grow. I hope that it brings more people to the area.

I had my 55th birthday party at this beautiful and sexy venue! This is a hidden gem in Downtown Plano that is centrally located and easy to access. The owners Ron and Deborah were very nice, resourceful, and accommodating. Ron is fun and such a pleasure to work with. The entire staff is so Amazing!! Shameca who was my coordinator was very professional and worked closely with me to make sure every detail was thought of. Shema is very sweet , professional and helpful ! She was the staff that worked the night of my party, and ensured that everything ran smoothly and without a hiccup. I can't say enough about event1013 or the AWESOME staff and owners! Thank you for making my 55th memorable!

This is a cute little venue. It is located in downtown Plano. It's got a rustic chic look to it. They have enough space to fit about 70-100 people eating comfortably. They have a good amount of bathrooms considering the small space. They did struggle a bit with plates during the event I attended. When they did the cake cutting they didn't have enough cake plates available so they were running back and forth taking people's meal plates to clean and reuse as cake plates. The servers also weren't quick to remove plates until we had the cake issue. My plate sat in front of me for an hour before it was removed to be used as a cake plate. Overall a decent venue to have a small event.

What a gorgeous venue. It's in a great location in the middle of all the fun & cutesy shopping/dining in historic downtown Plano. From the outside you would think this venue is pretty small, but it's actually much bigger and ultra spacious once you're inside. The main space is long and narrow with very high ceilings. Around the back you'll find beautiful bathrooms (they really are pretty, and clean) and another lovely, smaller room perfect for more activities. Wood floors, brick walls with little cutaways for votives -- it's very romantic if you want it to be. Just dim the lights and light the candles! For a more casual feeling, keep the lights bright. There's also two 10' x 20' video walls which are complimentary when you rent the space. The owner and his son are so kind and really do everything they can to make sure your event is running smoothly. They check-in with you a lot, plus they stay on top of set-up, trash, breakdown, and clean-up. They're seriously gracious hosts who take the time to make sure you're happy and comfortable.

I attended an event here over the weekend and I thought this was a nice venue. The front room is very large and can accommodate a lot of tables or seating. There were booths lined up along both ends and still a lot of room for walking and milling around.A hallway along the right side leads to a smaller room in the back and contains the restrooms. The restrooms were clean, tastefully decorated and the stalls had private doors. There was also a full length mirror, so it's an ideal space for changing if necessary. The décor was nice and the space looked impressive for the event. It's definitely a venue I would consider booking.My only note, in case it applies, is in regards to the acoustics. There was a band playing, and they were great, but the acoustics carry in a way that makes it really loud and therefore difficult to hear anyone. If anything, that may just affect your choice in music or type of speakers, but worth noting.

Are you looking for a quaint, and historic, location for your event? This little gem tucked away in downtown Plano is a great option that you should consider! I recently attended a work party here and it was fantastic.The main room is long, which could be configured in a number of ways, but is definitely limited to a long, thin setup. There is a room in the back that was set up with our food, I'm sure it could be used for a dance floor or other uses. There is a great wall covered in live plants and an adjacent wall with candles. The bathroom is in the middle, next to a little nook with benches. I never saw anyone in that area, as it was a little awkwardly placed. But depending on your event and how you use the space, it could be very nice.Parking is a little challenging. There is street parking, but it is shared with the other restaurants and bars nearby. Recommend guests carpool or use the train that is just down the street.

Came here for a Family Yelp event. This event is great for Yelpers to bring their kids, they had face paintings, cooking classes where they offered cupcake decoration for guest which was great, other vendors such as steel pop city, Sweet Hut that offered milk tea drinks, Topo-Chico which is carbonate water mineral (it was my first time and I got the natural lime flavor which is not bad and its 0 calories), truman bar which was developed by this young motivated kid (by the way his logo is so cute!, chocolate was good). Of course l, there was other venus, but these were the ones I checked out. The venue itself is cute, which can be used for small parties or small events. Overall, the event was nice.

Nice venue. The only thing for places in this downtown area, is the parking can be a hit or miss because its right off the main street on both sides. Luckily as we were approaching the main light, a car was about to leave. We did stop some traffic to wait on them backing out. Keep in mind you may have to do some walking. Inside was a pretty good flow of the traffic/crowd w/the amount of space. Good enough size for smaller/private events. Comfortable resting area near bathrooms followed by another smaller room.
