Escapology Escape Rooms - McKinney

Me and My SO were first timer to the Escape room. Went along with another couple who have done this in the past.We made a reservation for 7:35pm for Murder Mansion. Got there early (15mins prior to appt) but we were checked in and got started. The person who checked us in explained the process and what we need to complete the escape room.We took the hints from game master but managed to complete the puzzles within the 1hr timeframe.Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and happy that we were able to finish a difficult level escape room.

Girls Night! This is our fourth Escape Room together, but I've done a handful more with my family and Escapology was really well done.We did the Murder Mansion room and it wasn't until we were done we realized we'd chosen a 10/10 difficulty room. The room was very challenging, but most of the clues actually made sense. Our game master was incredibly helpful and gave us a few extra clues and hints when we were completely stuck. Both our game master and the woman who greeted us checked with us after to see what we thought - excellent service! Both were friendly and appeared to actually like their jobs which helps the customer experience tremendously.We all agreed we'd like to come back and the lovely woman at the front recommended both Narco and Scooby Do as her favorites.

What a GREAT experience!!! Fun for the whole family regardless of age! The point is to work together and solve the mystery! We had a 65yr old and a 12yr old in the same escape room... and we escaped at the last second! This place is different than others for sure!!! We did the manor murder mystery- and there were 3 rooms we went through and had to use all our skills to figure it out. Staff was super friendly and very helpful! I would definitely recommend this location over other competitors! I'll be back for sure!

My husband and I came here for Date Night and did the Scooby Doo room with just the 2 of us. We had a great time and enjoyed the puzzles in the room. Shoutout to our game master, Angel, who facilitated our game and checked in with us afterwards to make sure we had. A good experience. She was also helpful with providing info and recommendations on the various rooms and difficulty levels. We'll definitely be back to try the other rooms!

My best friend and I did the scooby doo escape room and it was so nostalgic and fun! Really cool clues and escape room tech! We loved it!!

Came here for 3 escape the rooms. I came with my family for some bonding time for my family which includes the young kids and the adults. They are very professional and explain everything really well. The rooms have some elements which are scary for some kids that are under 6 years old. But then again the rooms aren't made for under a certain age since they charge per person. Remember, Monday's and Thursday's everyone is 50% off. We did three rooms which are titled the antidote room, the murder mansion, and the cuban missile crisis. Before you start they go over safety and rules. Also, a little summary of what all the rooms are about. You can also read and see a video about it on their website. I don't know if they sanitize everything since tons of people touch all the items and every inch and crany of the room. I hope that they do! All in all we may return again.

We almost made it out!!!! We played the Mansion Murder & had a blast! It's my friends first escape room experience and they both enjoyed it! Our game master, Kaylee, was very helpful. We'll definitely go back and try the other rooms.

It was fun and super clever. I came here twice with my family and we tried the intermediate and easy rooms. Both were very fun to complete.

We decided to run up here on a random Tuesday night (just so happens that it was $15 night, even better). The decor is great - couches, tables, and drinks (alcoholic beverages as well). With it being a weeknight it was not busy at all, and, Matt, the young gentleman that was working was an amazing host. We did the antidote room. You start out by watching a quick video on the rules and then a video on the baseline of the story. Then you are off to find clues and try to get your escape out. We did this with our 12 year old daughter and it was definitely a fun night had by all of us. This will make for a great date-night or a family adventure. We will be back and hopefully the Mckinney area will continue to support this business.

The puzzles at these escape rooms are more challenging than other ones I've done but they were a lot of fun!
