Eggsquisite Cafe - Rockwall

Exquisite has been our go-to breakfast spot since it first opened, whether we're dining as a family or with friends. The food is consistently excellent, and the staff always makes us feel welcome. Whenever family visits from out of town, they're the ones suggesting we go to Exquisite--and after experiencing it for themselves, they can't wait to come back. It's the kind of place you miss when you're away, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience.It does get busy, especially on weekends, so be prepared for a wait. And don't sleep on their lunch menu--their sandwiches are delicious, especially the Reuben!

This is my second time coming here. First time I came on an extremely busy Saturday with a large party. Everything was absolutely perfect then. The food was great and the service was excellent. I was very impressed with the staff being able to keep up with a large group during an insanely busy Saturday brunch rush. I recently visited again on a Tuesday. There was no wait and no insane rush yet the staff seemed a little disheveled. There were a lot of mistakes on the orders. Although it was no big deal correcting the mistakes that came out, it was definitely an uncomfortable experience for people in my party to point that out. However, my waiter was excellent and very kind!The nitro cold brew was very good! Costs more than some of the other caffeinated options however the flavor was thoroughly enjoyable. The iced lattes were not good at all. Just spend a couple extra bucks and get the nitro, it's worth it. We were disappointed that they were out of the potatoes O'Brien so they had to substitute with shredded hash browns which were just fine. Nothing to hype up. The main dishes we ordered were the salmon scramble and the very berry waffles. The salmon scramble was a healthy option that had a really portion of fish. The waiter did warn that it would not be a fully filling dish, which I do appreciate the candor, but I still ordered anyway and still enjoyed! The very berry waffles had sweet fruit and a mesmerizing mascarpone with a fluffy waffle that just all came together beautifully. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean and well kept. I liked the vibe of the place as well. It's very welcoming and the quality is pretty good.

This is what a breakfast restaurant ought to be.What a breakfast restaurant ought NOT to be is Snooze.* * *What are the key differences?1) Eggsquisite does NOT have a liquor license.There is nothing but good about that.Some people want to get sloshed with mimosas first thing in the morning.I don't know about you - but I like to do things with my day.Lolling around, staggering from place to place and p**sing off your mimosas is a waste of a good day.There is a reason I drink coffee or energy drinks for breakfast.Snooze wants to get you plowed.2) Eggsquisite is not about giving you a 3500 calorie breakfast.I don't know about you - but I like to do things with my day.Lying on the sofa and groaning because I have just eaten 3500 calories is a waste of a good day.There is a reason I eat normal sized plates at breakfast.Snooze wants to build the tab by piling gratuitous calories sky high on your plate.* * *Sure, Eggsquisite has Benedicts in a variety of forms.It also has sweet breakfast entrees.But portion sizes are reasonable ... and there is a large selection of plain sensible functional breakfasts.I had the biscuits and gravy with two eggs.That is a big breakfast by objective standards - but it is the Dieter's Delite at Snooze.My wife had salmon toast.We both had coffee.The regular drip was fine.My decadent touch was putting in a single packet of French Vanilla Half and Half.We were good to go for the rest of the day.I could drive on I-35 without either falling asleep or being pulled over for a breathalyzer test.Falling asleep on I-35 in Dallas is not a recommended strategy for bed rest Unless you are fond of the very thin mattresses in Dallas County Jail.

I visited for Sunday brunch and had a great experience. I joined the waitlist ahead of time and was seated immediately, even though I arrived earlier than my quoted time. After browsing the menu for a few minutes, our waitress came over, and since I was torn between several dishes, I asked for her recommendations. I decided on the spicy chicken and biscuits but requested it deconstructed, along with a side of sweet potato fries.Our food arrived in a reasonable time, and everything was delicious! The biscuits were flaky and buttery, the chicken was perfectly seasoned and fried, and the scrambled eggs were just how I like them. However, the sweet potato fries were a bit of a letdown--they looked nearly burnt and didn't live up to the photos I'd seen on Yelp. Despite that, I'm excited to return soon!

Rockwall, TX location (7 Eggsuisites eggsist around Dallas Metro) now expanded in size, and more customers, expect a worthwhile wait. One of the best Bruncheries I have found, open 7 days.You can eggspect an awsome breakfast, brunch, or lunch at Eggsquisite Cafe.Kids Menu is really good, so everybody is happy here. The menu has a healthier vibe, not a lot of items deep-fried, but the Chicken-fried Chicken is a crowd favorite. I get Salad for lunch, or egg dishes for brunch. Steel Cut Oats (hot oatmeal) is awesome, upscale quality.Today, I dined outside, the Bacado folded omelet has cooked Spinach, Swiss cheese, shredded bacon, with slices of fresh Avocado atop!(I wish they sub smoked ham for the bacon)My 2 sides were small bowl of oatmeal, and Sweet Potato Fries.Staff was super busy, since Eggsquisite is super popular for all the right reasons.Great service, full belly of tasty food!

DELICIOUS! Definitely a must try in Rockwall, TX. I've had this spot saved for almost a year now and my partner and I finally stopped by. We came on New Years Day and there was a bit of a wait. The hostess was sweet but she seemed a bit overwhelmed with the rush, which is okay she handled everything very well. We met the manager Gasper (pronounced Yasper like Casper the ghost lol) he was super sweet and amazing. I can't remember our servers name but she did an okay job. I ordered the crab cake benedict. Delicious but I wish there was a little more of a crunchy element or bite to the meal. He got the traditional breakfast: eggs, bacon and pancakes (cinnamon toast pancakes). His pancakes were waaaayyyy to sweet for me but perfect for him. The food came out super quick like 7-10 minutes after we ordered it quick. But I mean it is breakfast lol. We came after the rush so they were starting to tidy up for the day. All and all we enjoyed our experience. 10/10

Food is hot and fresh. Very seasoned and delicious. Customer service is outstanding and very kind. We most definitely will come back and recommend to our family and friends.

My dad and I came on Saturday around 12:30 PM and got seated quickly. It was pretty full so if you have a big party I recommend calling ahead.EXCELLENT service, I wish I caught the name of our server because she was absolutely amazing. I've never been so politely "yes ma'am"'d in my life and I appreciated it. When I asked for hot sauce she asked which one, and then said she could bring all of them and I was delighted!The menus looked a little worse for wear, which I found funny. No big deal as we knew what we wanted from looking at the menu online anyways.The food itself was good. My dad's breakfast burrito was delicious and he got a side salad along with it.I ordered the chicken fried steak and honestly it didn't have too much flavor - it was as if they'd forgotten to season it, or at least salt it. My dad's side of ranch for his salad helped a bit and the texture was great at least. Also, just fyi they use cream gravy and not sausage gravy for their chicken fried steak (I asked as I saw sausage gravy for their biscuits and gravy dish). They have fruit OR berries as a side so I got both. I picked up a raspberry and noticed it had mold so I didn't end up eating the berries. Easy to overlook so no worries about a single berry, it happens.

Amazing food and awesome service! Justin made great recommendations. The cinnamon roll pancakes were superb and the omelettes were big and fluffy!
