My first visit will likely be my last. The redecorated space, formerly Casa Rosa, is nice but the food and service is mediocre. We arrived at about 6pm on Wednesday and we were seated right away. Our server didn't greet us, just asked for our drink order. We ordered cocktails, both were weak. Our server asked us almost every 2 minutes if we were ready to order. Finally after he asked us 5 times we ordered. Our food was brought to our table by someone else. He told us to be very careful because the plates were hot very hot. He was right, the plates were hot but our food was NOT. Nothing worse than barely warm Mexican food. Other than the food temp being just warm, the food was okay. I ordered the #4, which is a beef taco, chicken enchilada with sour cream sauce, beef enchilada with chile con carne and rice and beans. After we were finished eating the manager came by and asked us if we liked our dinner. I explained that the food was okay, not really hot and somewhat bland in flavor for Mexican food and all she had to say was that the plates loss their heat between the kitchen and the tables. WTH?Based on our experience, I don't expect this place to last very long. There are several other Mexican restaurants in the area with much better food and much better service.

Met my family here for dinner this evening. Our server, Melody, was fantastic. I was the last to show up in the group and she immediately came to the table and asked me what I needed to drink. Then I was approached by two other people asking if I needed anything, water, until my drink came. Because I was the last to arrive, my family was ready to order. She didn't rush me and gave me the time I needed to decide. I ended up ordering the 1/2 order of chicken fajita quesadillas. They brought out our food pretty quickly. Unfortunately my order was incorrect. They brought me chicken fajita nachos. Needless to say I mentioned it right away, and they said to keep it and they will bring out what I ordered. I did tell them that it wasn't necessary to bring out the quesadillas as I was okay with the nachos. What I believe was the manager (he never really said), assured me that I would get what I ordered. I was blown away at the fact that he insisted I get what I ordered and he comped my meal. He did mention that they're still in their soft opening of their establishment and are working through the kinks. The food was delicious. The nachos were good, but the cheese they used for the quesadillas was top notch. Everyone in our party was extremely happy with their meal and service. I would (and will) definitely be back when I'm in Dallas.

I flew into Dallas Love Field a couple weeks ago & found Eddie's Cocina just a few minutes away. I came in between lunch & dinner so the service was a little off but that's okay bc the food was delicious! The complimentary chips & salsa were fresh with warm chips, and I ordered the loaded queso to start.. great creamy white queso with taco meat & veggies! I also ordered the brisket tacos and they were standout, so well marinated and seasoned on flour tortillas. The server (Lupita) was really sweet & even gave me tea to go on my way out the door. I can't wait to come back when I'm back in the Dallas Love Field area!

This is a relatively new restaurant having only opened a couple months ago. Expect to find flavors that are more authentic than your standard chain Texmex, which we really liked. Service was quick and attentive and the vibe was laid back with music playing at a reasonable volume. The salsa flavor was great, chile relleno was good but not the best we'd had, brisket in the tacos was flavorful with the au jus though I would've liked the pepper and onion slightly more cooked (and maybe add some cheese). Overall, I'll definitely be back.

My friends and I popped in before heading to a concert. We all loved it. Fabulous food, exceptional service, great prices, comfortable seating, pristine restrooms and offers a quieter dining area away from the bar and general dining. I would have had more photos of the food but everything was so delicious we ate it too fast. The queso is the best I've ever had. The complimentary chips and salsa were insanely good! Not greasy at all. The quesadillas were superb. Margaritas were great. The fried tacos were to die for. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. If you want great quality Tex-Mex, this is the place. Can't wait to go back!!!

The old Casa Rosa has been transformed into Eddie's Tex Mex, which just opened this past Wednesday. I must say, the remodel looks amazing, and I absolutely love the bar! Right now, I'm enjoying the shrimp ceviche, and it's fantastic--the flavor is incredible and very light. I highly recommend it if you're not very hungry. I also had the coconut mojito, which is delightful; I really love the taste of coconut. I highly recommend visiting this location!

Our family's first visit to Eddie's Tex Mex Cocina and Cantina was fantastic! The outside as well as the inside of the restaurant were clean and very well decorated. Great atmosphere! We arrived on a Friday at 4:10 PM, just in time for their happy hour (3-6 PM). The $6 frozen margaritas were excellent, and the complimentary chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful. Our waiter, Latral, provided top-notch hospitality, making the experience even better. We ordered the chicken fajitas, tacos al pastor, and spinach enchiladas--all beautifully plated and incredibly fresh. We were so impressed that we're already talking about coming back soon! Highly recommend Eddie's for a great Tex-Mex experience.

Called location today and ask for catering. The girl told her manager that I sounded like a scammer. Joe takes the call and I could not believe the approach he took. He was not aware that I could hear their conversation. My intent was to order for a lunchfor several people but because of their approach I have gone to a different restaurant that welcome me with a warmness I sincerely appreciate It. Food was delicious!
