East Buffet

I usually love this place hence the 4th star but this last time most everything was cold and dry. The place is clean. The wait staff always makes sure your drinks are always filled and they always have a large selection as it did this time but it was a fail. Now this won't stop me from returning because everyone is untitled to one miss and past experience tells me they can do better.

The 4 stars are for my tea and the Mongolian grill!!! Get your food freshly made here!! Don't waste your time on the buffet!!! It socks rocks!!! The food is very bland. We tried baked seafood, ribs, catfish, crawfish. It basically all sucked. The Mongolian Grill has got it going on tho!!!

Right next door to our hotel. Was debating going due to the reviews but took a chance. Glad we did. Restaurant was clean and service was excellent. Food was hot and very good.

Needed to eat somewhere not bbq related and was craving Chinese food. This was worth the price. Good customer service asked if I can see what was being served before I sat, no problem. Nice same-same variety of food you'd expect from a Chinese Buffet restaurant. Didn't go for the Mongolia Noodles cuz I just wanted to stuff my face without waiting. I was satisfied with the selection but the only reason not 5 stars.. sushi wasn't at par with what I've been use to at these spots and my favorite cheese wontons were good but not warm and stale. I go to Chinese buffets for sushi but coulda been better. In the end I would be back. And I would suggest to go here if I was asked. Fruits were good too and if you can't beat good customer service.

I haven't been to a buffet like this in years. It's kind of exactly what you'd expect. Groups of all ages coming to get an easy meal for all the picky eaters and children piling their plates high.I liked the variety of dishes to choose from. The peppered squid was a test outside what I'd normally trust at a buffet. Unfortunately, it was a bit crunchy from being dried out under heat lamps. Some of the thicker tentacles were gummy and delicious.I'd probably go back to try other dishes.

This is near my office, but we mostly been going to Uno as it's slightly bigger with maybe little more selection?Anyway, with the post pandemic, seemed like everything has gone up in price. My last weekday lunch at Uno was something like $14+, so decided to come back to East as it's been maybe couple of years since my last visit Today, I had to make a trip to Ft worth to pickup something with my son, so decided to stop by for lunch. It was $14.95 for all day Sunday, which was fair. I always like to start with Mongolian, and that was perfect as expected. The sushi, well, those were not as good as the rice used is just plain old rice and not even close to the real thing, even for a sushi at a Chinese restaurant, so don't bother. Aside from that, I've tried a little of everything else and they were all good and fresh. The fried shrimp especially were tasty, made a mess of myself but we'll worth it. Service as expected was decent for Chinese restaurant as I had low expectations, but the 2 waitresses kept coming back to clear our plates and refill the water at least 3 or 4 times. Aside from the pretend sushi, this was a good experience and deserves a 4 star. Keep in mind, I'm only comparing this to other Chinese buffet I had in the past.

Omg cook was in the restroom for 10 minutes came out never wash his hands and start cooking how I know because my son was having stomach problems for the spoiled shrimp that was served inside doing the Mongolian grill. Not to get into full detail just try it out if you're a true American this place should be closed down due to food violations. I guess that's why you don't see a food grade for the service of this restaurant. Come on Texas state board let's do better for the American citizens. Need to keep ice on seafood for it won't spoil and change spoons out I set here for a hour never seen changed gross never ever will I return or recommend

Their food isn't fresh and they got little white worms in their chicken or could've been the eggroll . I tried to call up there and explain to them what I experienced earlier in my car and they couldn't understand me she asked me if I spoke Korean because she can't hear me. I told her no, she said okay you can call back....I kept feeling something in the back of my mouth and I got nauseous so I paid for my plate and got in my car...I looked in the mirror with my mouth wide open to see a skinny little white worm in the crease of my throat....I threw up instantly.....This is not okay...SO IM TELLING YAAAALLLLLLL They food not fresh. crazy I used to go there all the time now it's just not good anymore.No this is not a bean sprout, bean sprouts don't move.

The food tasted like butthole and I'll never eat there again. The only thing that was good was the spring roles. The service was ok they barely came to our table. The place was very crowded and had way too many tables in it.

Food was great as always, but the service wasn't. Before we could finish our main food, about to get the dessert and the server comes up to us telling us if we want the check, as we say "ok", she tells us total. We then get the check and she wont leave when she hands us our ticket, Terrible! We didn't even get the fortune cookies, nor refills. Never again!
