When I first saw this park online as a "must see" with the mystical photos of dragons and all the good reviews; I was very excited. However, it's an extremely small property and it's private. They don't really want you hanging out around there. I would say, if you're in the area it's worth a drive by... but it's not something I would go out of my way to see unless you live close. Although, you should know that it is indeed beautiful and lovely art, even if it's small.

[4] - Location[5] - Uniqueness [5] - Free Entry A hidden gem that brings me memories of " A Secret Garden" Or a ritual sacred place in Uptown Dallas. Though very small and delicate, this would the perfect place for photography, read a book, even perhaps some meditation. There is unique stones statues placed here from, Dragons, to gargoyles, angels. The trees are delicately placed, some I have never seen before with many beautiful colors and foliage. I loved it when I came to check it out, many much parking so you may get luck if there is not many people there, which usually there are for taking pictures. It is not a big place, it is very small, but enough to take a nice little stroll and enjoy for whomever made this place available to the public. Note - When we arrived there are sign's at the entrances that say, in order to enter this property you had to call a number that was on the sign and ask for permission first before entering. I did not call, and just walked around admiring the garden as many others did. Though, if you do plan on going, enter at your own risk ( You prob should call and ask for permission first). Sadly I did not take a picture of the sign. I was probably only there 15 minutes at the most to enjoy the whole garden. I'd love to go back with my camera to take some nice pictures sometime. Totally a nice little place to check out if you happen to be in this area.

If you happen to be in the Oak Lawn area between Cedar Springs & Turtle Creek Road. Take a 15 minute well deserved green nature break in this upscale neighborhood. Dragon Park is a private location, but is open to the public to enjoy it's numerous fun, scary, and entertaining statues. There are pretty blooming flowers and interesting shrubbery to delight one's eye as well.Driving east on Cedar Springs, make a left on Hood Street and park your car to the immediate curb, after the red no parking sign. Right in front of this little oasis in our Dallas concrete jungle, is the entrance. A green 2 hour sign allows 120 minutes to hang out, eat a lunch, take some photos, and then hit the road again. There are no bathrooms, but there are a few restaurants on the west side of Oak Lawn Avenue. It's a cute quaint hidden gem for sure. I really wish our city provided more green shaded cooler spots, we are so overran with urban trappings, without the balance of nature and places to be outside, regardless of the season, which is a shame. There are probably half a dozen or more tracts of modest space and land that could be converted. One can only hope that those in the local city council making policy. Set aside a few well deserved tax dollars to give our city more outdoor venues for everyone to enjoy.

When u arrive theres a small parking lot and parking on side of streets. Free and public but will have 'private property' signs around. No one was here other than a couple of artists, working on their project. It is a very small park with stone paths that circles around. Many animal statutes and flowers/plants that you can take a photo of or with. Nice, decent activity to quickly stop by with a friend or just by yourself to think about things. There's no reason u should be here for more than 20-30 mins other than to admire and take photos with the animal statutes. Not sure if it's a must stop but something to see and do if very bored.

Really nice place! It's a hidden gem in Dallas; the sculptures are cool. It's a small place and probably not somewhere you want to spend a lot of time in because of all of the mosquitoes- I spent about two minutes taking pictures and I got 10 bug bites. There's not much to it besides the statues but it's worth a visit if you're in the city.

This is a lovely and charming park. It's a very small park but a beautiful place to have lunch or sit a while. There are lots of wonderful sculptures here like a large lion, a Chinese dragon with it's foot on a tiny dragon, a 5' frog hiding under a leaf, a tall Chinese dragon and a beautiful lady sitting in the garden who looks like she is ready to give someone a kiss. It's such a cute area between some houses. I think it's worth a visit if you enjoy seeing unique gardens. I don't think it's really a place for kids to play since it's so small but I think it's a nice place to show kids who love fairies and magical places. It reminds me of a mini Narnia.

Gorgeous, hidden gem in the middle of the city. Drove past this park several times and never knew it was here. I stumbled upon it today, but even in the winter with most of the foliage gone, I still give it 5 stars because I totally see the potential come spring time. Very tiny Park, I would say more of a magical garden. There are several statues around the area, with a beautiful gazebo in the middle (vines hanging down). Also a beautiful stone table with benches on either end of the garden, would be ideal for a romantic picnic with your loved one or an intimate little gathering with friends. Although the street is right there, the garden itself was quiet, serene. Can't wait to go back in the spring when the foliage is in bloom!
