I didn't get any pics. That's my bad for sure. This is the best dining experience I've had in a long time and I've had what I would consider good ones recently. Food A+Service A+Ambience A+Be prepared for a wait but man it's worth every minute. I will be back soon. Excellent job Dragon House Southlake.

Outward appearance, and interior seem to portray a nice contemporary restaurant with a full-service bar, open-air patio tables, and even a drivethru window.I was shocked at lack of spiciness, or savor in a simple "Kung pao" dish I had ordered.Overall, it seemed undercooked, like the cook rushed it through, and maybe forgot details?Scallions were only vegetable mixed into the protein. The chopped red chili pepper was stale, inedible. The Kung pao entre came with white rice, or "fried" rice...I chose the "fried rice" which was just white rice with some soy sauce for coloring!I was in the area, and searched for Vnurŕ

I had a light dinner of egg drop soup and broccoli with pork. No appetizers or eggrolls etc..Taste wise both were good, however it was luke warm at best. (didn't. touch the rice, it was cold)I considered not eating but I was starving, just off the plane having spent 6 hours travel time to get here. Service was so, so. Took my order and served the food and disappeared. It was 8:30pm and no other patrons in the place. They close at 9:00am on Monday so maybe I was the last customer and they just wanted to close up.After having said this I would try it one more time, because of flavor and it did seem the food was fresh, before writing them off. Nice place with booths and tables, cafe size. Looked clean and neat.

Went to Dragon House yesterday and for the first time had a bad experience. I was very surprised. I asked the hostess if they change owners and she said not recently. We ordered the lunch special which comes with soup, edamame, wonton chips, and an egg roll. We got it without the edamame and I just thought they failed to change their menu. However, when I looked at the table next to us (they ordered after us), they had the full complement. I pointed this out to the server and she said they were out of edamame when she served us. She did offer to bring it to us, but we had already finished our meal. We had Hunan Chicken/fried rice, Hunan Shrimp/brown rice. We both got brown rice. Interesting, the meats were hot, but the vegetables were cold.Just F.Y.I., so I hope you get everything you ordered!

Had a late birthday celebration at my favorite restaurant to get soup dumplings at!! We ordered the Shanghai cucumber salad, soup dumplings, dumpling sampler, and stir fried hand pulled noodles with chicken. Their lunch menu comes with your choice of soup, rice, edamame, spring roll and entree. Everything was delicious as always! It was very crowded for lunch but we were seated promptly and our waitress was very sweet!

I popped in for their lunch special while I was subbing down in Southlake and they had an awesome special. Soup and eggroll nae and a very decent sized portion for lunch. For $15. I ate at the bar, the staff was amazingly, friendly, and efficient. Everything ran very smoothly and my general Tao's was delicious. I highly recommend you visiting... I can't wait to get back and try to dim sum. Apparently they have another dragon house, but this one was kind of small and intimate and cute. The other place is apparently larger and a little more fancy. I actually like this one best

My first visit since the rest opened. Ordered take out to feed a couple families. The order was 50 minutes past the time that was directed for when the take out was ready. Waited at the door. The pork, def not good. Not in the sweet and sour dish (odd flavor) nor the salt and pepper (over cooked). Walnut shrimp, a lot of mayo, and the dumplings (dim sum, north), just not good. The Singapore noodles and fried rice were the only two dishes that got a pass. Panda would be a better option. As much as I would like to say we would try again, that just wont happen.

Loveeee this place! authentic flavors, exceptional service, and a cozy ambiance, this restaurant is a must-visit! Their orange chicken is an absolute standout--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated with a perfectly balanced tangy-sweet glaze. It's easily some of the best orange chicken I've had in years. Equally impressive are their hand-pulled noodles with beef which I got my most recent visit. They are made fresh to order and are by far the best I have ever had. Their soups are fantastic too, the large is definitely enough to share. The service here deserves a special mention. Every time we come here the staff is friendly and happy to offer recommendations without being overbearing. Prices are reasonable for the quality and the massive portions. Such a great spot for casual dining or even special occasions. Parking can be tough but worth the struggle.

In anticipation of the opening of a Dragon House location in Highland Village, my girls and I decided to do some recon and visit the location in Southlake. It's a clean restaurant with a bar area. And our server was very helpful in explaining the dishes and different types of dumplings. We went with the Juicy Dumplings ($12), Pork/Crab Meat Dumplings ($15), Shrimp Fried Rice ($18), Orange Chicken lunch portion ($15), Sweet Sour Chicken lunch portion ($15). They have a great lunch special for $15 that comes with soup, edamame, egg roll, and those fried strips. The menu covers a wide range of choices and there are several specials I hope to try once they open closer to me. For me, it's not worth trying the pork/crab for the extra $3 as the normal juicy dumplings are quite fine. I'd say they are good overall but I wouldn't drive out 15 miles again to visit. But a quick trip down the street when they open the new location is fine. No date as of yet as I spoke to the manager. Apparently they are awaiting a couple of licenses but no definitive reasons given.

This review is long overdue! I'm such a huge fan of this place since it first opened. With that being said, I've dined in countless times and also ordered through Uber Eats multiple occasions , especially during dinner times on the weekends. For appetizers, my go-to is the wonton in chili sauce. It's not that spicy, but so good. Then you have to try some of their dim sum. If you want some crunchy texture, the pan-fried pork bun doesn't disappoint. The classic is the steamed juicy dumpling. Place the dumpling on a spoon, add some vinegar on top, poke a whole into the dumpling, enjoy a little warm soup from the small opening, and then eat the entire dumpling. The soup juice just bursts into your mouth - delicious! The Peking duck is one of my top favorites. I believe it has limited availability, but this is a huge dish that should be shared with others. If you're a rice and meat person, their kung pao chicken really kicks the spot. They have fresh hand-pulled noodles that can be ordered during certain hours of the day. You can see the chefs preparing them. I would highly recommend the Szechuan Dan Dan Noodles - that sesame/peanut sauce makes this dish stand out. Lastly, for that rainy/soupy cravings, get the braised beef noodle soup. It gives the cozy vibes. Warning: the portion is huge. The beef is super tender and flavorful. Service is always quick and efficient. They get pretty busy, so the servers do not linger. Drinks are consistently refilled. I shall be back per usual.
