Dos Arroyos is so good we went twice in one weekend. The fresh warm chips and salsa are a perfect start to the meal. The ambiance is warm and homey, making it feel like a hidden gem in a cute neighborhood in Richardson. The service is no-nonsense but efficient, and the food is an intriguing mix of classic Mexican flavors with a bit of a twist. The brisket enchiladas are outstanding, but the carne asada is even better. On our second visit, we went for brunch and were not disappointed. The breakfast quesadilla was massive and absolutely delicious. I had Agustin's enchiladas with mole sauce and steak, which were perfectly balanced. We capped it all off with churros that were the ideal sweet finish. The all-day happy hour is a huge bonus, and their house margaritas are on point. If you're in the area, Dos Arroyos is a must-visit.

Dos Arroyos Comida Casera is a must-visit! The carne asada was absolutely incredible, tender, flavorful, and perfectly grilled with that smoky char that makes it unforgettable. The brisket enchiladas were such a unique twist. The creamy mashed potatoes paired surprisingly well with the smoky, tender brisket, making every bite rich and satisfying. It's not something I expected, but it's definitely something I'll be back for.And the margaritas, wow. They were not only delicious but also perfectly strong without being overpowering. The balance was spot on, making them the perfect complement to the meal.To top it all off, the fun 80's playlist added a lively vibe to the experience. It's little touches like this that make Dos Arroyos stand out.If you're looking for bold flavors, creative dishes, strong drinks, and a great atmosphere, Dos Arroyos is the place to go. I can't wait to return!

We went here because it was convenient and when we left, we were convinced that we will be back. We went around 3:30 in the afternoon so we had the place practically to ourselves. The music was great (80's ish), but it was a little bit loud since the place was relatively empty. We ordered brisket enchiladas and Agustin's enchiladas with mole sauce and black beans. Since it was happy hour, we decided to indulge in frozen margaritas. Our waitress was very attentive. She started us with a basket of chips and small individual containers of salsa. The fresh, crunchy chips were perfectly paired with the gently spicy salsa. The waitress let me taste it in advance of putting in my order. My husband calls me a mole snob and their mole did not disappoint. I asked for a combination of chicken and fajita beef which they accommodated. The brisket enchiladas were so unique and so tasty. The flavors were all well balanced. The food was so good, I couldn't stop eating it. I took a chance on a frozen margarita. I usually expect them to be average and mild. The margaritas we got were just the right amount of sweet and sour. The tequila was generous but balanced. We were quite pleased with our selections and will certainly be back.

Guys! If you have been sleeping on the Mexican lasagna... don't!!! It is SO good!!! So much better than I expected it to be and the portion size is beyond generous. If you're a sauce kind of person, like myself, they do not hold back and the sauce is delicious! Service is always prompt and on point! One of my favorite spots in Richardson.

I'd come here for dinner before and just realized I hadn't left a review. This place is still delicious! The only downfall is that it's so good it gets pretty packed on a Saturday evening and the parking can be tricky. The flavors are very bold and authentic with a nice twist to them. They definitely reminded me of a home cooked meal! Being Mexican, I'm very critical of any place that says they offer Mexican cuisine and this place really brought their best to the table! From the street corn, guacamole, queso, and chips appetizers to the caldo, carne asada tacos, rice and quesadillas, that I tasted, everything was very flavorful! The atmosphere was very lively and family friendly. There was mostly large groups both times I've been but there were tables that seemed to accommodate for a date or small family. The decor is a rustic feel and adds to the rustic Mexican vibe. Overall, both times I've eaten here I've really enjoyed the food and the service. Give them a try if your looking for something pretty close to authentic Mexican flavors. I think your palate will thank you for it.

I adore this place. My family moved across town several years ago, but I haven't found anything close to this place near my house. Finally, I decided I won't fix something that isn't broken and make the long drive whenever I need a Tex-Mex fix. This is our go-to place when we have visitors from out of town too. My favorite is the fajitas or anything from the grill, but the rest of the menu is equally excellent, and the portions are huge. Frozen margaritas are a must-try as well.

Always a pleasure to dine at the bar. I go pretty frequently as a "date" night with friends. Love that 80's music is played on the bar side. The salsa is the best, like really - I've ordered pints to take home. I usually get the veggie tamales and this last time the veggie street tacos. The julianned veggies on their dishes is scrumptious. Oh - and get the sangria!

The interior is nice, and it's located in a food complex. The service was great. The waiter constantly checked on us, gave us nachos, and refilled our waters. We got seated immediately. Decent tex-mex spot with good quesadillas and enchiladas.

Lorena was such an awesome bartender! She was so great with us! My parents come here regularly and I can see why! We started off with the brisket queso, and it is some of the best queso I have ever had in my life! The brisket in the wueso was so tender and juicy and flavorful that we ate the whole thing in less than five mins!!!I also ordered the Mexican martini, which was absolutely delicious, rimmed with tajin gave it that extra ummph of a flair!! Lastly the enchiladas, I got the beef and got wueso and the chili sauce on both of them since that queso was so dang good, and it was just enough! Super yummy, light, didn't feel overly stuffed. Left feeling happy and full!!
