Best burger in the garland area! The meat is super fresh and juicy, and there are lots of topping options. The fries were good, but the onion rings were killer! The ambiance is old school dive burger joint, so nothing fancy, but definitely delicious! We had the plain Jane, the humpty dumpty, and the double trouble. They also have several beverage options, both in bottles and from the fountain! The service was friendly, lots of young workers. Make sure to ask for side sauces (there is no ketchup bottles on the tables)! They take a little more time than your typical burger joint, but that's why the taste is so much better! Highly recommend if you are near Garland and looking for casual dining!

My favorite find in quite some time! Good crowd, large and clean dining room, friendly staff. You can tell this is a well-supported local spot. We got a Humpty Dumpty burger with an egg and bacon on top and a fried chicken sandwich. Both of them were outstanding. And the stars of the show were the tater tots. Crispy outside, soft inside with just enough salt. Perfection. If I'm ever back in Garland I will definitely make a return trip to Don.

My coworker recommended this local spot for us. Truly a traditional burger joint. The inside is decorated very vintage. I loved it! This is the first burger place I've been to with chili cheese fries! So yummy! The Goomba Burger is delectable!! Hubby had the Mr Bacon Burger & enjoyed it as well. This place is always crowded for a reason. I would rate it 5 stars but sometimes when it's crowded the customer service can be lacking. So that's my only con about this place. Definitely love coming here & will be back again.

This burger spot is the best. I have driven past this place multiple times and finally got to stop. Great food, great service and a great family spot for lunch or dinner. The food was delicious, the only thing missing was the marinara sauce for cheese sticks.

My family and I have been coming here since it opened and have yet to be disappointed. It's my go-to place when I want a sit-down burger "experience". When she's there, the owner, Corrina, often finds time to stop by our table to say "Hi" and *always* asks about our meal and whether or not she could make it any better. The kids working the counter, bussing the tables, and delivering the food are always friendly and helpful, even when fixing a mistake. (It's a food place, folks. Sometimes mistakes are made. Judge them on how they fix them, not on the fact they occurred.)The burgers are outstanding! While I usually take mine medium to medium-rare, their medium-well patties are always juicy and well-seasoned. My wife sticks to the Plain Jane (she always calls it the "Mary Jane" which always cracks me up), sans cheese and mayo, mustard on the side. My son always gets the Mr. Bacon, also no cheese or mayo. I tend to mix it up based on my mood, but the B&B (bacon with blue cheese crumbles) is probably my favorite. It may be my favorite burger, period. When I'm really hungry I opt for the Double Trouble. If you order that, be sure you're ready for the "meat sweats." The sides are also well-prepared, especially the tater tots. My only complaint is that it can be a little warm inside during the summer months, but the ceiling fans and mobile coolers help a lot.

Food was good. - not bad, not great. No remarkable taste. Forgettable. Burger was large - good volume for the price. Tater tots were good. Self serve soft drinks and tea - therefore, free refills. I asked to change out ketchup for ranch dressing and was told there would be 75¢ up-charge - not acceptable. Is ketchup free to the restaurant, I don't think so - they pay for it just as they lay for ranch. So why should they attempt to up-charge for ranch? Instead, they created a frustrating experience. A smart business man would know better. Staff was friendly and very courteous. Order at the counter. Food is delivered to the table by staff. Food deliver is slow, but it is being cooked from scratch. Atmosphere needs improvement. This appears to be a former Mexican restaurant that has been repurposed. And it looks that way. For the prices charged, better ambience is expected. Restaurant appeared to be clean. Tables were kept bussed. Much more professional staff here than at Burger House, but the food is better at Burger House.

This place is amazing. A little hole in the wall that if you're not looking for it, you'll pass it right up. Friendly environment and the food is great. I have tried everything on the menu and it is all good. I recommend everyone should try it.

They are busy at lunch time, and you should expect a delay. I had the blue cheese burger and would recommend it. Burger was $10 + $4 for fries & drink.
