Doce Mesas

Some of the best Mexican food we have had in a while. We sat on the back patio which has plenty of fans to keep everyone cool. Our waiter was very friendly and the service overall was outstanding. We started with queso which was absolutely delicious - thick with chunks of peppers. Their chips and salsa are also quite good. I would not call it fajitas, but the beef tenderloin dish is one of the best Mexican renditions I have ever had. The enchiladas are quite good but probably more like an 8.5 out of 10. They also make a great margarita.We will definitely be back.

I ended my boycott which extended 4 months when we went here for dinner on a gorgeous Saturday evening for dinner because the wife wanted outside dining and their patio has a wonderful vibe. We used to go there 2-3 times a week before an unacceptable experience 4 months ago. I figure my boycott cost them in excess of $1200 so I guess that penalty is sufficient. This time the service and food returned to what we had known before. Angelica was great as a server--friendly and efficient. The wife loved her sopes. My enchiladas verde were excellent. The La Carolina margaritas are tasty and potent. Overall, very nice experience. Now that the boycott is over, we'll put Doce back in the rotation.

Absolutely loved everything here! The employees were so nice! The ambiance was clean, fun and exciting! The salsa and chips were so good so I ordered the guacamole which had amazing taste! When I say the carne asada tacos had the best flavor I've ever had is an understatement! Will definitely be back!!

We've been here many times and have always had amazing service but last night just really made me not ever want to go there again. We have always loved the service, food and drinks but last night we ordered a Barbie margarita, like we always do and it tasted terrible so we sent it back. It's basically a skinny margarita. When we mentioned that it didn't taste like it normally did, our waitress argued, "Well it's a skinny margarita so it's going to taste different" We mentioned that we were aware and that we've had it before and she acted somewhat disgruntled to have to replace it. We saw her and the bartender and another waiter convening at the bar behind us and the other waiter looked at us and shook his head and laughed at us. I also prefer my nachos cooked longer and sent them back and after that the service we received was pretty condescending until it was time to get our check. It was blatantly obvious that we were being made fun of. Just sad this as we always spend decent money there and tip 30% because we value the service industry but we won't be returning after feeling ganged up on.

My bestie and I went for dinner at this place on a Wednesday and were seated right away, which was nice. The restaurant has a cool, trendy vibe, perfect for casual dining and happy hour. However, for me, the vibe was the best part, overshadowing the food and service. The Tex Mex food was decent, and the service was just okay, but nothing memorable enough to make me want to come back.We ordered the chicken Al pastor tacos and the verde chicken enchiladas. The food was served quickly and looked great. Both dishes had decent flavors and generous portion sizes for the price. I especially liked the cilantro rice that came with our dishes.Another plus was that the food wasn't overly seasoned and was light on salt, allowing for customization with additional salt or salsa for more heat.I would have given this place a 3.5-star rating if I could, as I had higher expectations based on the restaurant's vibe and presentation. I'm not sure if having a cocktail or drinks would have enhanced the experience, but I was aiming to stay healthy and hydrated with water.I hope you have a better experience if you decide to dine here. This is really going to be my best comfort drink and food place, it's truly all encompassing restaurant with great staff, friendly, professional and the food, yummy!!!

We went to Doce Mesas for a late lunch. The decor is tres moderne. All white interior and lovely. The service is excellent and very friendly but professional. We had the Doce Mesas queso as an appetizer. I had the Chin Chin salad; my husband had the cheese enchiladas. The queso was mild with freshly roasted poblanos, but for a little kick it came with two roasted serranos and grilled onions on the side. So yummy!The Chin Chin salad was delicious- a wonderful little Asian fusion going on with the ginger-soy dressing. My husband is a cheese enchilada aficionado and loved the enchiladas. Everything was amazing!

A nearby restaurant that I intended to dine at was closed today so I quickly remembered Doce Mesas from a couple of favorable reviews by Yelpers about town, Stephen W.He was right. This is a great find in a convenient location but that's just to start. It checks all the boxes for my enjoyment. Pleasant atmosphere,good service, tolerable prices and of course good food.The food is more than acceptable,it's quite good. After examining the menu several times I took a chance on the Mole Chicken Enchiladas.Home run! The gamble paid off and this mole proved to strike that perfect balance between slight sweet edge and bitter undertones that results in the perfect bite.We also sampled the fish tacos,trying one fried and one grilled. Very good.The drinks are stout and authentically made.I would recommend this to anyone as I myself feel I've added another restaurant to my list of viable options.

OMG!!! I give this place high marks! Everything about it was amazing! The server was amazing and attentive! She never let the glass go bare, she honored every request, and her attention to our table was stellar! The ambiance was immaculate and quaint. The restrooms were in tip top shape and smelled great. It looked like an upscale restaurant with a laid back vibe. And now the food...the unique take on Mexican food and/or Tex-Mex was refreshing and creative. It was delicious and hot off the press!!! Thank you guys so much for the fantastic experience...as a matter of fact I will see you again soon!

Doce Mesas is a fine dining experience, the food is great, the service is excellent, and everyone makes sure you're being attended to.They have a great menu and you can always find something that will satisfy your appetite.
