Service is SLOW, very slow. It will take you over an hour to get food. Maybe it was because we had a large party (6)? But, it felt like they had to go catch the animals, skin, gut, season, and then cook it. A good hour and a half went by with no food. A good 45 minutes with no drink?! Once food finally arrived it was delicious. Flavor and heat was great. But, don't go here hungry-you will starve waiting. Other than service being painfully slow, the food was average but, not worth the long wait. I hate giving small, local, businesses bad reviews. But, I have to be honest, food was delicious, but bring snacks and drinks if you're thirsty or hungry. Otherwise, sit back, enjoy the ambience and then enjoy your food.

Love Ethiopian cuisine, found this place on Yelp, and was not disappointed. The service was excellent. Restaurant was spotless. Everything we ordered was out quickly, hot, fresh and made to order. Despite not blending in this community hangout, we felt right at home.

Loved trying this place with the family. Food was a touch too spicy for the kids to really enjoy but service was kind and helpful. We will return for date night for sure.

This place doesn't look like much when you walk past and is pretty simple on the decor indoors as well. However, if you are looking for really finger licking good authentic Ethiopian food, then this place is probably the best i have ever had in the metroplex! This little gem hidden off Buckingham and Jupiter in Richardson makes me feel like I have moved back in time to when I was a teenager eating homemade Ethiopian food by my friends parents in their homes! Every bite is a burst of flavor and the ladies who run the place are so pleasant and friendly. I took my 12 year old here with me to try out the food and she is such a fan of it that every week she wants me to take here back for more! We usually go at lunch time on the weekends, it isn't super crowded and service is quick.

I tried out this restaurant for the first time and I can definitely say it was outstanding! I'm a big fan of Ethiopian food and that maybe contributed to the fact that I am Ethiopian. I went here because I had received a suggestion from some of my friends. I heard great things and I could honestly say it was true. From the outside it is just in a regular shopping center in Garland/Richardson area. There are quite a few Ethiopian business because there is a larger community there. Since I'm away from home, I rarely eat Ethiopian food so when I do crave it , I try to find new restaurants to fulfill my cravings! When you walk into the restaurant you are greeted by quite an elaborate Decor and lighting. I would've never guessed it would be like that before entering it. Like most Ethiopian restaurants , you do have to seat yourself. We were then greeted by the waitress quite quickly! She came out with our drinks quite fast. We gave her our order and our food was out within 15 minutes. Which is FAST in my opinion for Ethiopian food, because if the preparation it takes. The food was amazing! We order Tibbs, which is like beef kabob meat made out of stew shape beef and flavored with exquisite flavor. Unfortunately most restaurants have a combo dish whet you can have more than one type of fish in a plate but we could only choose one here. So we went with Tibbs. If your ever in the Buckingham / Jupiter Road area of Richardson/Garland, you won't regret trying out this place!

SUCH AMAZING FOOD. We got the vegetarian combination, the doro wat spicy chicken, the beef tibs, and a new beef dish in brown sauce. It was all awesome, very high quality Ethiopian food. The staff was nice. We just came for the food, but the dance music was rather loud. We didn't mind it though. The seating was very comfortable. I would go here again and again.

As an Ethiopian, it's so disappointing how disgusting this food was. Their food tested like it was from weeks ago, made my stomach heart to the point of throwing up. I will save you money and trip, don't go here.
