Diamond Oaks Country Club

My husband works for Home Depot. They had a Christmas event December 15, 2024. I would definitely recommend if you have an event to plan to call these people. It is the best food best service clean place very friendly staff. It was a fun place to have the Christmas event there so much fun. I would definitely give this place a 10 if I could.

I have been using this venue for about 7 years. I hold an event here every week. The staff is always courteous and very friendly. They always stop by to make sure everything is perfect for me. Event Director Kim Keen is a joy with which to work. She goes out of her way to make us happy and comply with our every need or want. I frequently eat here. The dining experience is always great. If I want a formal or gourmet meal I have the Oaks Restaurant or if I am in the mood for something more casual I go downstairs to the 19th Hole Grill. The chefs are excellent in both restaurants. All the staff have always been kind and sincere. They are great to help with any request we submit. The bartenders and waitresses will bring our food directly to us in the meeting room if we want. That is really great when we are tight on time. The view over the golf course is beautiful and the entire Club is clean, comfortable and inviting. I have also attended weddings and birthday parties here. They are always planned with attention to every detail. I have been here several times now for golf tournaments through my job. The course is beautiful and very well kept. I really like the layout of their driving range as well. The club house facility was updated about a year or so giving it a great flow. What I was impressed the most would have to be their customer service. Starting right from when you first arrive they remove your golf clubs from your car and bring them to your assigned golf cart. They are very alert regarding thier customers, if it looks like someone needs a ride somewhere and or looks lost or they may need something they are very quick to help. I think the full staff is extremely professional.

Ok so I liked the club so much I actually joined the membership. I am an average golfer with around a 9 handicap and I really like this course. The greens crew do a great job maintaining the fairways and bermuda greens. The course is fairly short with few fairway bunkers but the greens are super slick and the rough around them can be tragic. There are some great oak trees that line the fairways and I believe some may even be a hundred years old. The dining experience here is drastically improved with the addition of chef Nate. There have also been renovations done to both the 19th hole and the more formal Oak room upstairs. I had the prime rib today and it was superb and the prices didnt wteck my wallet. The staff are hardworking and polite. The head golf pro Clayton seems like a super guy and I really feel this is one of the best bang for your buck golf experiences in the metroplex!

What a great experience! I really love everything about this place. The staff are really friendly and the members are great people too. The atmosphere at this country club is really laid back and that is what I like best about itThis club has been around since 1960 so it does have white a bit of history. The clubhouse is spacious and has a beautiful view of the course. The clubhouse facilities have just undergone a 2.5 million dollar renovation and it really shows it. The upstairs Oak Room has a brand new bar, restaurant and patio. It has the higher end menu but prices are very reasonable. Tonight I got the chicken caprice and it was delicious and my husband got the southern fried chicken. Chef Nate does a great job and is very creative. The 19th hole is still downstairs and offers a more casual dining experienceThe golf course itself was designed by Charles Akey and offers a very challenging layout. It has also received renovations and it is always in great shape. The greens are Bermuda and are very fast. I really enjoy Diamond Oaks country club and recommend it for both the golfing and dining!

Ive been to this location for two separate christmas parties. The decorations are really nice! The place looks really great with table place settings, christmas trees, lights, the whole place! Its the whole package for venue. However, staff is very overwhelmed and are not very attentive to detail. The appetizer table was without serving utensils for the first hour or so. When I made the staff aware, they said "Oh" and didn't do anything about it. I asked again and told them to bring something now. The main course was a Sliced beef, with roasted potatoes and veggies. The meat was supposed to be cooked rare, but it was as overcooked as shoe leather. However shoe leather would have been better since it would have at least been warm, because my plate was very cold. When we told the staff, they kindly brought me and my guest a new plate. The fresh plate was warm, but was not cooked any better. The cash bar had great service and the drinks were made well for the price.The best part of the evening was the desert table. It was packed with great items that tasted as good as they looked. I think most people filled up on desert with the failure from dinner.

We hosted our wedding here in November 2015, and it was a wonderful experience! The staff was incredible, beyond belief really. They all genuinely cared about making our day as special as we did. Kim Keen (the director & coordinator) was awesome, she really went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Kim was wonderful through the whole process, she was there every step of the way. I would highly recommend Diamond Oaks to anybody looking for an affordable yet gorgeous place to host your wedding. We did our ceremony outside and reception inside; it was stunning. The location is so beautiful. Also, the catering staff.... wow!!! They did a wonderful job! The service was great and the food was even better. We got compliments all night on the food, and for weeks after the wedding. Our compliments to the chef, the food was delicious. Everybody kept saying it was the best "wedding food" they've ever eaten. My husband and I have been back to the club 3 times now just to enjoy dinner; YES, it's that's good! Anyways, I just wanted to say a massive Thank You to everybody at Diamond Oaks for making our day so special and memorable. I would definitely recommend people doing an event there. the sweetest and the best staff very prompt proficient. friendly very clean place. I would recommend people to do an event.

Kim, the event coordinator, was awesome!! We had our event here and everything went so smoothly. She worked with our menu and preferences like no one ever has. The facility accommodations and attending staff were terrific as well. We will be booking here as often as the need arises in the future.Thank you!
