We still love this place and order from here regularly, but I will say, the food is wildly inconsistent and tastes different every time we order it so I had to remove 2 stars. When it's good, it's literally PERFECTION. But other times it's waaaay too salty or it's bland and too sweet. We order mild every time and sometimes it's just the right amount of spice, and other times it's so spicy, we can't even eat it. We've had to throw entire entrees away bc it was too salty or too spicy. So basically every time we order, it's either going to be the best Indian food ever or completely inedible. We are rolling the dice every time. We still order regularly though bc if it's a good day, it's the best.

Appetizer is authentic and tasty. Bajji, samosa and chaat items were really great. Service and pricing is very good.

Part grocer / part dine in eatery with a wonderful selections of savory dishes to choose from. Be sure to check out the case, we saw some chicken curry puffs (have a little kick to them) and vege puffs and samosas... I wanted to try a bunch of dishes so I ordered butter chicken, aloo gobi, palak paneer, and Daal. Each dish comes with a container of rice.I forgot to take photo of my dishes, but yummy and mild in flavor which is what we requested. Be ready to wait for your order to be made. I want to say we waited at least 30 minutes if not more, and sat at a table in the dining area. Next time I will call in my order for pick up. Seems like that's what other customers were doing and rather successful at that! I'll be back to checkout the grocery section for chickpea, lentils, and crackers and their tea section!

We ordered Masala Dosa and Butter naan The Sambhar came in a very TINY bowl. Also it was cold Why save money over something like that and give your clients a good experience of dining

I went to try chicken Mandi after hearing good reviews.We ordered 2 piece chicken Mandi. The quantity of rice was less and they spread it to make it feel it has lot of rice. The rice served looked like a street side fried rice.When we started to eat the rice was cold. Eggs are cold like the room it out of the freezer. The chicken gravy was good. We complained that the rice is cold and they replaced the rice. Next time the rice was hot but it was little salty.We didn't complain to them. The guy overheard the conversation and said today a new chef prepared the order. They gave us Chicken dum biryani for free as Mandi was not good. They informed us dum biryani will be good and tastes similar to Hyderabad Dum biryani.We came back home and tried the free biryani. The rice taste was ok not that great as they told us. When eating the chicken pieces I felt little salty than the salt in Mandi.We realized later we visited the wrong Desi District.

Had their veg and non veg thali. The restaurant is too pricy. It costed us $38 for two thali's, and the food wasn't up to the mark. I was disappointed. The quantity was a lot but couldn't eat since the taste wasn't good.

Food here is a big big disappointment. Had three orders in a row messed up, all were take out orders. No response after complaining. However we like the chat items but again not consistent every time.This has both eatery and grocery under the same roof so ambience speaks itself.After the disappointing episodes in a row haven't gone back yet!

Just horrible service, ordered 18 samosas to go for 25 dollars, order was not ready after 30 minutes, they had forgotten about my order, packed my order after I got there, charged me extra for no reason, couldn't explain the purpose of the extra charge, and didn't give Tamrind chutney as they ran out, completely lied to me. I asked for mint chutney and he went to the kitchen and packed it got me. Checkout the video, it tasted terrible as it was diluted with water. Worst Indian restaurant in town! Guys working there have major issues communicating effectively!

Service is the worstCalled and placed a carry out orderAnd went in to pick up at appointed time and was told it was delayed by 30 minutes... 30 minutes later they called to delay another 30-45 minutes...Why bother? so I cancelled my order and will not be back...

standards have truly fallen since the great Indian buffet lunch of the 90's. The atmosphere smells like a giant armpit.. and for these prices? It looks dirty and the food was cooked 3 days before most likely. It just doesn't look good.. and you want me to pay 25 dollars for goat curry and some rice?
