Deerfield Housing The

Hard for me to understand why this neighborhood's light display wouldn't have 5 stars. It's free, it's fun, is beautiful. The only downside is perhaps those who live there don't love all of the traffic. As a visitor, I'd go back again and again.

Been living here for years, and never thought to see if they were on Yelp. I actually live in North Deerfield, but it's all good.This place is awesome, especially around Christmas time..... Can you say "Cinderella Carriage Ride"?Anyway, Deerfield goes to Plano Schools, and Deerfield North goes to Frisco schools. Best of both worlds.

Deerfield is known for its amazing Christmas light displays. We came here over the holidays and thoroughly enjoyed it. The neighborhood conducts its own theme contest so you can see yard signs like, "Kid's favorite" or "Best overall". The neighborhood is huge with impressive lights everywhere. There's more than just one route through the neighborhood, so you can drive freely around and it won't be clogged with traffic.On the night we went, one of the teenaged residents was on his lawn playing Christmas carols on his keyboard. Cool!The one thing that left a bitter taste in our mouths was someone with a hot chocolate/coffee stand. I thought it might be the neighborhood organization giving out hot drinks to spectators. No, someone was just trying to make a buck selling drinks at several dollars a pop. Oh well.Would love to come back next year!!

I absolutely LOOOOVE this place... If you are not in the Christmas spirit YOU WILL BE when you leave and if you are in the Christmas spirit you will leave with an abundance of MORE JOY!!!!!!! We've been coming here every Christmas for several years. This year was so disappointing. Still busy with traffic but less than a third of houses were decorated. The ones that did decorate didn't put much effort into it.

Went here on Christmas Eve and it wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be half the houses had no Christmas lights. I usually go to Highland Park but I thought I Would try something new.
