DeCordova Bend Park

I camped out here May 20-22 (Friday thru Sunday). During the day, this park is great. I was able to launch my kayak and fish Granbury Lake with ease. The covered tables and multiple trash cans made grilling and relaxing easy. The bathrooms were ok but resembled prison style metal toilets.If you are going to camp here at night, expect a lake party. Loud music past midnight and out of control kids running around until midnight are the norm. One family pulled up around 10:30 with 3 cars, let their kids run wild, were loud and did not go home until after midnight.Daytime use is fine. If you want peace and quiet at night, go somewhere else.

Nice park next to the dam on the Ft. Worth side. There's a boat ramp along with bathrooms and some tent camping and picnic benches and grills. There's also a really nice beach and a fishing pier. Very family friendly.
