The playground is currently being torn down so the only play area for kids is the tball field. The bathrooms aren't very clean either but the trail is decent.

Nice park.We wanted to enjoy the early evening weather and take a stroll. We stopped by Debusk Park since they have a nice walking/jogging path. The trail runs all the way around the park. Most of it is cement, but there are sections of it that are bridges made out of wood, so watch your step. It helps break up the monotony of running on you average sidewalk. The path goes up and down some nice hills, through heavily wooded areas, and right along the side of some residential streets. There is a opening where you run next to and cross over a creek, so I can imagine that the mosquito population here can be pretty heavy. Be careful and wear some DEET. Probably the crown jewel of this park (for some people, not for me), is this huge play ground. When I say huge, I mean HUGE!!! It's a pretty massive structure of wooden beams and planks to climb and play on. The path cuts right by it, so if you take it the whole 1.44 miles around, you'll pass by it!Cool place if you want a change of scenery and a nice trail to walk. If you're close by, take a walk and enjoy Mesquite!

Would be 5 stars if equipment had more shade. My daughter is small and not even 3 so she needs to grab the wall to pull up and I have to help her through most of it because of this. But! The design is great! I'm literally planing to build a version on my future property one day. The hidden rooms and towers make my light up! 8)It has been little bad on the tiny litter pick up, but it's sad some people don't watch their kids at parks it seems/I'm learning. I just being a grocery bag and follow my daughter cleaning on the way. I do this at every playground because I found a huge broken peice of glass in the toddler park at a Garland location. I've seen the workers out cleaning. People just litter. So I clean. LolBut this is my daughters favorite place. She calls it the Sticks Playground. I even reported a plank missing and next day we came back to play and it was fixed! We love you Park & Rec department! Lol It is unique in design. My fav is the bottom parts to weave through. If I was a kid this would have been my dream park just saying. . They kids & parents I've interacted worth have been pleasant and nice!

I have taken my son to lots of parks in the area and this one is really impressive. It's got 3 wooden structures with many hidden passages and and slides. My son had a great time but I have to knock off a star because it's almost too big. visibility is low because of the way the structures are built so if you have a crazy toddler that you cant trust to play from afar I would suggest a different park. You could easily lose sight of a toddler and have to really stay on your toes here.

DeBusk park is probably the best park in Mesquite. According to their website it's a 42.52 acre site with a 1.44 mile (total trail length) concrete trail connecting to Westover Greenbelt Park through Westover Park. I've played some kickball and had a couple of bbqs here along with some 9 hole disc golf. I've also walked my dog here and he was very happy. There's some exploring you can do here, check it out.
