Called to get information regarding potential booking for my wedding. Initial interaction rude , answered phone stating "who is this? I was shocked however continued with my conversation. He was rude by declining my services off top however had dates available. I wouldn't have booked my wedding with him anyways by his h professionalism from the beginning. Imaging dealing with that, no way! Brides be aware!

Please make sure all of your information and payments are in writing & that your contracts are being honored. If not file report with BBB or TX attorney general. Don't make the mistake I did. I did business with Arturo & Marcela Duran prior to covid for a basic promotional package & switched dates a couple of times with their approval.The first 2 times were for extreme health reasons as well as covid curfews in Dallas county.The last time,I was on dialysis and unable to walk due to extreme swelling & multiple surgeries. Marcela accommodated me, charged me a reasonable $500.I finished paying my package 8/2021 my event was 9/2022.A few months prior to my event,Marcela told me she sold the venue to Alex Estrada & to speak to him about my deposit because he had a different way of doing things than she had. I spoke to him, he basically told me that Marcela and Arturo Duran had kept deposits and he couldn't pay them back to clients because although he purchased the contracts, she "pocketed the money"It was tmi but okay,so here I go back & forth between these 2.Alex had me in office where he told me he despised that he purchased the venue at the time that he had my contract as he had a line of clients waiting for my date 9/3/22.He said he would do anything to cancel because the worse I could do what burn him on Facebook or complain elsewhere but even then, he had the means to defend himself.Alex said he wanted to rip up my contract & send me on my way without a refund or anything because he wasn't "making any money because of me."Take into consideration that at this time.I was fighting for my life,trying to recover from a sudden onset of kidney failure as a result of lupus.I was devastated.I felt like I was causing so much damage to this business owner & he was just being a narcissist trying to get inside my head,but at the same time I was scared that my wedding wouldn't even become a reality. He finally had an altercation with Marcela over the phone. They cussed eachother out while he had her on speaker in front of me, asked me to stay quiet and pretended I wasn't there while trying to make her talk about me. I don't know these these people or what their issue was with me, but finally Marcela agreed to give me my deposit. At the same time, Alex stated he was canceling my Venue B rental without a refund & Marcela wouldn't refund me that money either. Alex agreed to re-rent B out for $900 even though I had already paid for it.8/31/22, Alex had spoken to my mother in private while I was in Venue A with Marcela & she gave him $1100 to not cancel the venue, as we had invitations and encouraged people that it was a family event & that there would be a venue for the kids. When I went back to the office, my mother had given him the money because she said I had gone through so much and it wasn't fair that this was going downhill less than a week before my wedding.9/1/22, Marcela & I were in Venue A, organizing. She rushed us, saying she had things to do so I gave her $600 for security and bartender because she told me not to give Alex any more money. I gave it to her only to have her turn around and give it to him herself. He came in flashing the money, chanting "I got paid, I got paid" in spanish and my mom was bent down cleaning up a spill on the floor and shdasked "have you put up the curtains yet?" (My mom had washed venue white curtains b/c they were stained brown). He became enraged, balled up his fists heading towards my mother, muttering cursewords under his breath. He wanted to hit her but my brother stepped in between to try to calm him down. It made him more upset & then someone else stepped in & Marcela began hugging Alex, holding him back. It was a disaster. we never confirmed the completion of Venue B or finished setting up Venue A because he threatened us to be out by 6pm or else. I was in tears. Police was notified and helped me out during my event which was a disaster buse there was a 15 & underage drinking from their party inside my venues. Afterwards neither one gave me the deposit back.

To all the brides and grooms, think twice before reserving this place. Unless you want to be up-charged for every little detail inside the ballroom to charging you for cleaning and arrangements. There was two owners for this place, a woman that was initially paid to reserve it for the wedding date and then the other owner, a man, who also charged for another deposit on top of the previous owner not even considering to have all reservations and deposits prior to him taking over to be grandfathered in to his ownership. That is something that could've been negotiated between the two owners. Instead they both talk to you individually, never together, to talk down about each other, give you less time to prepare the tables, chairs, and decor, and even at their worst will aggressively walk up to you demanding more money. As the maid of honor for my best friends wedding, I have witnessed the new owner aggressively walking up to my best friends mother to demand money for the drapes THAT SHE TOOK HOME TO WASH bc they were filthy. This man isn't to be trusted with your business what so ever. He will also be present at your wedding sending his employees to sit there and watch everyone to make sure y'all aren't doing anything bc if so he will also charge you for it. A service my best friend paid for was for food and catering, the venue owner got upset that the catering people were helping collect all the trash from the dinner we all enjoyed. So if you hire other services outside the venue business and they voluntarily help you collect all the trash it will be frowned upon by the venue owner.No bride or groom should ever have of feel any kind of fear or pressure to abide this man's rules and additional fees. When you reserve a venue, they should make you feel like you made the right decision and the price is locked in the day you make your deposits and payments. No one should ever go through stress about a venue they chose for a big important day such as your wedding.

Omg I love the venue so much, thank you soo much to Alex and his team for making my sweet sixteen the most special day of my life, I love how every looks and I was so happy specially the staff they were so nice and they were making sure everyone was okay and thank you to Gabby to making sure I was okay and if I needed anything

Alex and his team were amazing! My wife threw a surprise a party for me and I lt was definitely a great time. They paid attention to the smallest details, from the tableware to the music! If I could give 10 stars I would.
