So pretty. I Recommend for an easy/ quick nature walk. It's an easy walk on a paved path, can easily push a wheel chair.

Small park. I expected it to be a tad bigger, hoping to get a mile in. Lots of greenery and parking, bet it would be pretty during bloom. However, bare trees as expected in November. The trail itself is routed weird and doesn't really flow. I'd recommend if they could add doggy bags and a trash can just to keep it clean.

The Crape Myrtle Trails are the brain child of Neal Sperry a horticulture expert. The basic idea was to plant all the public areas: medians, rights-of-way, parks, school grounds, cemeteries - all the public areas with crape myrtles. All the known varieties of crape myrtles. Historic ones in the older neighborhoods. Newer ones to the west.I love to bike The Trails anytime during the summer to see thousands of crape myrtles in bloom. Peak bloom is usually mid-June int early July. All varieties will rebloom in late summer and into the fall.

This is a tiny little park. It is cool to see the many kinds of crape myrtles, but we were hoping for more of a "trail". This is quite nice, just much much smaller than we expected. Some parts of the sidewalk were "washed out" and had some big puddles. No restrooms or water fountain. There is also construction right now at the school that this park is immediately behind.

This is a nice park, fairly clean. I live about 2 minutes from here so it's convenient to take my dog here for walks when he has too much energy. Plus there's usually no one here so he can run around freely! I do wish it was a little bit bigger though. The paved paths are short so i have to walk around about 10 times just to get a mile in. Also because it is a park, it'd be nice to have dog waste bags available! Luckily I always carry some with me, but others don't. As a result, there are piles of poo here and there, which I don't like because my dog likes sniffing around.

Wonderful little spot for a nature walk. Sun dial is a little hidden in the back area. Small creek right next to park. And off course all the wonderful trees

Small and quiet. Perfect if you're just looking to get out in the sun and get a nice little walk. My only issue is I'm a night walker and lighting is bad at night.

This is a self-guided drive through suburban streets of McKinney, mainly Eldorado. The streets are lined with crape myrtles, some very large. We drove the last weekend of June, so a lot of the trees had not bloomed yet, but those that had were gorgeous. This culminates in a visit to the small but beautiful World Collection park full if crape myrtles. This obviously works better with a copilot, and visit the park early in the day when it's cool.

This was a nice place to walk around with the family just to get outside the house for a bit. The kids enjoyed going to the sun dial and learning how it worked.
