Copper and Steel

Great dinner at the Copper and Steel. Service was great. I had the ribeye steak, its was an excellent medium rare cooked, one of the best steaks I've ever had. I had the smoked tequila old fashioned not for me at all, I'll stick with a normal old fashioned from now on.

I happened to eat here due to convenience of staying at Hyatt Regency. Service and food was rather lacking. It took several minutes to find someone to ask if we should seat ourselves. From there things were a bit downhill. We saw our food sitting under the heating lamp with no staff to bring it out to us. Secondly the eggs Benedict I ordered had no spinach as referenced and I have attached a photo to show what it looked like when it came to my table after a 10 minute wait at the lamp. I had ordered a Togo order for my husband at the start of the meal and even after my father and I finished our meal we were greeted with an even longer wait as no one had even started out to go order. There was only one cook and all the staff were very unorganized to say the least. At one point I had to see an individual as another staff member to bring water to a table more than once. As I write this, I am still waiting for my to go order as they never started it and have requested to cancel altogether.

Great food & amazing service from Hunter! Came here for a new years event that didn't serve food, so we came here for a quick bite. Food was good & the service from Hunter was amazing! Very nice area, along with the bar.

This cute little restaurant and bar in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency hotel at Stonebriar Mall is fantastic. You can get to the hotel from behind the carousel at the mall (food court) or they have free parking out front. They have lots of open seating and a bar with full menu. We had some hummus, flatbread, the burger, and some cocktails and everything was delicious and the service was amazing. On weekends they have a DJ playing music and a great atmosphere. If you're in Frisco especially Stonebriar Mall area, I would definitely recommend this restaurant/bar.

Ate here right after it opened a few years ago & it was pretty bad (see prior review) But I met a guy on the golf course recently who said they have a new head chef or kitchen manager & food is much better.so we decided to give it a shot. It's VERY MUCH improved. Ate here recently on a Tuesday night. Waitress was friendly & steered us toward, and more importantly, away from several menu items. Ask their recommendations. We split pitmaster brisket flatbread, and also cabrese steak sandwich. Dessert of brownie a la mode. All excellent. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because the menu is extremely limited, and much of the food, such as unsweetened ice tea, all salads, and tomato/tortilla soup was discouraged by the staff. Otherwise food was very good, served fast & hot & tasty.

Underrated. Some people like flair others like classy and low key. The star of the show is the bartender Brandon. I stayed here for business travel. A good bartender is a gem in todays society. I'd easily give a 4.5 but the food could do better, that's a separate issue and category - although not bad the food is decent. In the future if I have to choose I will be back.

We just has our Mother's Day buffet brunch at Hyatt Regency Frisco.the presentation was average. nothing special stands out. There was no PrimeRib nor Chefs omelet preparation as per menu description. I do better breakfast spread on weekends. I expected a more festive presentation.
