Coco Beach Plano

Lacks consistency. Definitely better when they first opened. Ordered the Surfing Pig nachos, that came without CHEESE! Servers should ALWAYS check orders before serving it to the guests! Will NOT be returning!

Came here for a drink and ordered 2 Cadillac margaritas. Not only did it take 20+ minutes to make them in a place that was not busy (Friday around 1/1:30pm - 5 people tops), the process of making it was not your way you'd expect. His first go, he split it between the two glasses and it did not fill it up so he went another round to make the mix and then add it to the two glasses. Again, it did not fill up either glass, but still handed it to us. I have never seen someone mix a marg, not make enough and have to mix another round and blend the two attempts. What is going on!

Had to stop by for cocktails and nosh. As our Tiki hearts were yearning for a Beach break after Christmas festivities. Cute beach bar in the heart downtown Plano . Nice bar with yummy food great Happy Hour M-F 3-7. Tiki Hubby and I shared 2 appetizers Coconut Shrimp and 1/2 order of nachos. One of the season drinks a spicy old fashion. Drinks server by a very nice bartender were perfect. Shrimp was cooked perfect with a spicy sweet dipping sauce. Pulled pork nachos 1/2 order was plenty with cheese there famous pulled pork sour cream, guacamole/ pico and a spicy sauce to dip. Not one bad bite or sip. Definitely a place to come back to nice menu.

A lot to like about Coco Beach and a few things that could be better. Most of what wasn't ideal is tied to staff interactions and I grant it may have been an off day. However. Like: Lunch specials - good prices, especially in an inflationary market. Don't like: Server didn't attempt to explain lunch sandwich options. Didn't mention lunch specials at all. Like: I had the mahi mahi sandwich with sweet potato fries. It was delicious. Like seriously delicious. Don't like: We wanted iced tea. Or a Coke Zero. We were told they only had water, coke and sprite. Later when we were handed a menu we saw they served iced tea. And Diet Coke was an option too. So that was odd. After waiting 15 minutes after our plates were cleared (we were one of just three occupied tables for lunch), I finally went to the server and asked for our check. When our receipt came, there was no space to sign, leave a tip, etc. It turns out the system was not working properly. That happens, but why not tell us this? It was a very strange service experience start to finish which really took away from the deliciousness of our food.

My new favorite place in downtown Plano! A complete 5 star experience. My burger was amazing, fries were crispy, and service was excellent! The owner was so accommodating, so welcoming and friendly, absolutely love her. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!

The atmosphere is fun Definitely a drinking spot vs eating spot. Avavado toast came with a spread vs fresh avocado. Almost certain it was a spread that is premade or tastes premade. Partner got nachos and they were cold and just chips with microwave melted cheese on top. I wanted it to be as good as their social media pics portray but fell short and it's off my list.

Best late-night spot in Plano, hands down. I was expecting "bar food," but was pleasantly surprised and shocked when I got my food. This place serves quality, fresh food and has a really nice atmosphere. Helena was our bartender, and she really made our experience special. I couldn't decide between the ceviche and the crab cake, so she let me try the ceviche since it was our first time. It's rare to find that kind of customer service these days. We will be regulars now!

LOOK OUT for the 5.75% credit card fee added to your bill!! We were shocked!! It was not listed anywhere on the menu that they would charge a credit card payment fee.Ambience was ok, sports bar/ slight tiki bar feel to it. We ordered the coconut shrimp, pork sliders and blue cheese burger with sweet potato fries. Everything was good and came out pretty fast. I asked for MR on burger, it was more like medium/ medium well... not pink at all. For drinks we had the seasonal spiced old fashion and the house margarita. I felt my margarita wasn't strong enough so I ordered an extra shot to put in it.Service was ok. Server, who was also the bartender seemed disinterested in serving us. No smile, a smile goes along way. We felt as if we were an inconvenience to her. We were the only table there and no one at the bar except a couple people who appeared to be a couple of employees or friends. Wanted to love this place as we were excited to try a new spot near our home, but the crazy high credit card fee along with staff disinterest in serving us makes it a hard sell.

Great Food !! And the kitchen is open till 2:00AM !!! Great little Tiki Bar/restaurant

Solid food and drinks with a good size bar and just a couple outdoor seats for options in this little tiki bar. I think this might be a new favorite...
