Cock & Bull

First time here. It is a "one of a kind" Dallas dive. Get ready. When you walk in it will take some time for your eyes to adjust to the total lack of light. The darkest bar I've seen in years but that adds volumes to the delightful ambience. Customers are great too. No graffiti in the bathroom. Instead it was written on a poster that is surely replaced regularly because it's held up by push pins. Vanessa is a professional bartender. Bloody Mary was excellent as was her attention and conversation. I don't go to this area often but you can be certain I will return to the "Cock & Bull". Only complaint is that it is not easily visible. It's very small and next door to a much larger brewery and beer joint. Thanks again Vanessa and thank you Lea for taking me there.

Salmon was a little too charred and dry for me. The salad was incredible and the rice accompanying. We got ceviche as a starter and the chips were completely stale. Attentive service which I appreciated. Bar that feels like It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia so it has that charm.

Cool place for a beverage or tasty meal. The chips and queso were a great appetizer. The cheeseburger and steak sandwich were both excellent. Service was great. There's not a ton of seating, but we found a spot pretty easily.

This place is awesome! We first visited a couple weeks ago and we've been back 6 times! The food is off the charts good. Especially their meatloaf! I think it's the best meatloaf I've ever had. They have a dive bar ambiance, the kind of place where it's the same regulars nearly every time you visit. The staff is great, awesome conversation and humor. The staff have all been there 5-20 years, so they really know the menu. Great place, and will definitely remain on our rotation.

Great place with even better food. A mild type dive bar. The bar and service staff are amazing. The best mussels iv ever eaten. I highly recommend this place for casual dining with drinks.

This place is a place that my family has been going to for years. Great drinks, great food, great service. The trifecta of a Lakewood establishment and damn consistent. My favorite is the mussels. I want the at least once a week. Also, damn hood martinis.

This place is so good! I was walking to another restaurant and impulsively decided to eat there instead. Everyone was friendly and the food was great. The mussels were the best!!! Highly recommend. This was the best place I've been to in a while.

Have been here before. They raised prices a lot over time. Hotdogs. $10. Burger 12 and up. Blue Plate special and nothing special, 8$. Service is slow. Our food was not good and it was very loud. The worst part though is that it is really dirty. I saw that the table for example was black and brown, but when I rubbed the black with my fingernail, I had some filth under my nail and the lighter brown came through. The glass on the wall shows a lot of dirt as well.
