Cita's Salsa & Kitchen

So happy to see that Cita's now has a storefront. All of their salsas, fresh juices, tamales, and meals (individual and family sized) are available. When I visited they had a variety including turkey meatloaf and pork with rice and black beans. Everything is so good. I have been a fan of their Garden Green salsa for several years. I even gave it out to friends at Christmas. It is AMAZING, good with chips, as a mix in with rice and beans and I even use it as a low calorie, low fat, low carb salad dressing. Until recently I could only find it at the local farmer's markets, Central Market and at The Green Spot on Buckner.After visiting the store, I realize they have more to offer than just salsa. The only criticism is that my daughter wanted more salt on the tortilla chips. We will be back!!!!

Great spot for Mexican grab and go items to heat and serve for later. They also have a loyalty program where you earn points for purchases to redeem free items

Tried the cauliflower soup, Mac and cheese, and the sour cream chicken enchiladas. Also bought some salsa to go. Cute little hole in the wall take out spot. The owner was SO sweet and let us try different salsas before buying. My friend tried the horchata and potato salad as well and said it was amazing. Will definitely be coming by again to try out the menudo and pasole!

The prepared meals and kits are universally excellent. My family all have favorites, like the brisket bowl with cilantro rice, chicken tetrazzini, bean and cheese tacos, turkey meatloaf, and the tostada kit. The owner and family make every visit a warm and inviting one. Cita's is a great part of the Casa View neighborhood.

Bar none, the best salsa we have ever eaten. They have a great selection for every taste. Even there Habanero is tolerable with heat and boasts excellent flavor.

Citas salsa never disappoints. It's got to the best salsa I have purchased. Closest thing to home made !!! The to go meals are perfect if you want to have meals for the week . Highly suggest Citas Kitchen. Friendly staff .

Never been more disappointed. We were directed to the almost empty cooler cases and advised that what was in there was "last weeks cooking" and was half price. We asked about tacos and they said none were available but we could purchase some marked down meatloaf (????). No sign of salsa anywhere. If they are famous for it why not a nice display.

Love everything here. First came for the salsa, now come for the posole, the sopa di fideo, the menudo, and the sour cream enchiladas.

Everything clean, crisp and tastes amazing!! Definitely recommend to anyone on the go. Makes life so much easier.

Menudo was good! Good size serving, with a choice of corn or flour tortillas. Defiantly recommend coming here!
