The chicken fried rice extra spicy is mouth watering and rich in its flavor. I haven't tried much of their items, but I don consistently get their fried rice. It can be a tad bit oily sometimes but that could be given extra spice. Nevertheless I'm a big advocate for this spot.

The owner is a liar and thief. They rang up and extra dollar without my knowledge to get a vegetable curry. The menu clearly says vegetables, tofu or chicken is $12.95. Then he blames it's on a menu misprint and literally argues me down that he was right. Another customer had the same issue. He rudely shoved the money owed back to me making me drop the money. I will never be back here! It's not the money it's the principal and horrible service! Also the cashier was inept and not helpful. I asked for duck sauce for my egg roll and order of crab Rangoon and was given 1 packet of sauce! Not a tiny cup a single packet the size of a ketchup packet! Also the curry was thin watery and flavorless!

Excellent affordable Chinese-American food. This place is super efficient with their to-go orders, which is the only way they offer service. But it's always fast and ready hot! I recommend their crab rangoon, any chicken dish, the fried rice, and their pad thai.

I absolutely love this place, I am an extremely picky eater and have very high standards for the food I eat depending on what I like, so when I moved to Dallas it was very hard to find a good Asian place I liked but from the service to the atmosphere of chef house was exactly what I was looking for, they have some of the best fried riced and if not the best, the family that runs it is so friendly and always very polite, it's very quick and at a good price point too which was important to me with how expensive everything is nowadays and a big plus is how late they are open as a lot of time I crave fried rice late at night like 1 am and they are always open 7 days a week overall chef house is one of my top picks of all time and reminds so much of a little shop back in my home town which is why I love it so much

Definitely not worth the price !!! The eggrolls were overpriced they weren't really stuffed also the broccoli was not steamed mid elike they cut mirovaw it 30 seconds and put in with the meat it wasn't cooked with the meat only the best option wen nothing else is open MAIN REASON I COOK AT HOMEO ONLY WORHR IT FROM 10pm-2am

Despite the wave of low reviews we decided to give this place a shot. They do let you enter and order food, but then you must sit in the waiting room while your food is prepared for strictly to go. The chicken fried rice and chicken egg roll were surprisingly good. There was no special sauce for the egg roll, but our expectations were low. For about $16 each with lots of chicken fried rice leftover, it was a decent staple in the neighborhood dining.The lack of indoor dining greatly reduces the ability to plan this spot as a stop for the evening, without also knowing where to eat the food.1 star reduction for the low quality of the "fortune" provided.
