This new Punjabi restaurant has become our absolute favorite! When we visit a restaurant that claims to serve "authentic" Punjabi cuisine (don't they all!!), we always look for and try two specific dishes first: Rajma and Kadhi Pakora. Only a restaurant with authentic roots can nail those dishes; this place knocked it out of the park! We also tried other dishes - Butter chicken, Dal Tadka, Gobi and Methi paratha, and tawa roti - all of which were outstanding. The staff's unfailing politeness was the cherry on top. Despite its unassuming location and not being your typical "dine-in" full-service restaurant (we did take-out only, and everything was perfectly packed), this is the only place to go if you're a fan of Punjabi food.

I ordered through doordash, the food was way below average. I had the samosa chaat, this was delicious, it barely fulfilled my craving, but it could have a little more Tamarind chutney for taste. 2.5/5The gaajar ka halwa (carrot dessert), was not too sweet, and came with cashews sprinkled on top. It was okay, but nothing special. I'm not big on sweets so sweetness level was fine by me, but for someone looking to fulfill their sweet tooth, opt for something else because this is not it. 1/5I also order the fish pakora, which is what I was originally craving. Terrible. The batter had no flavor, it tasted like batter, plain and no flavor. The fish was undercooked. It was completely bland...it came with overly dried Limes that squeezed out barely a drop, and on a bed of some chopped onions. You could tell it was fried in old/reused oil, so it had a certain taste and smell to it. It also came with a green chutney, which was also a disappointment...again, no flavor, no spice level, overly watery. 0/5Many Indian places try to compensate spice levels to accommodate the palate of those who aren't used to or like spicy food, but this place just had no flavor in anything I ordered. Overall, I probably won't order from here again. 2/5

Picked up food mid June .Chaska Chicken curry - very mild, good for me, but too mild for the wifePaneer butter masala was okChicken kebab - microscopic portion size, same with paneer pakora / bread pakora ... two tiny piecesOverall the portion sizes including naan etc were too small for the bill $70 (mango lassi extra) + tipThough food tasted good and Service was friendly I'd rather go someplace where I get my money's worthI changed my rating from 3 stars to 1 star because yelp removed my review I'm guessing because the owners made a false complaint that my review is for rice pot express (receipt photo) - anyone can drive up and see that the address for chaskaa Punjabi and rice pot express are the same. I had to drive around a few times and then finally found it because the sign outside says rice pot express but only on walking up to the door do u see a tiny paper flyer saying chaskaa Punjabi. Wish I took a picture at the time.

We tried this place based on a friend's reccomendation. This is a new addition to previously existing Asian Pot restaurant. They serve Chinese food Mon thru Saturday and Indian food all seven days a week. Over all, the place is good! Even though it is a order-at-the-counter type of place, service was friendly and attentive. The place is simple, not much decor of any kind, but was very clean. I had mixed feelings about the food though...paneer paratha was delicious. Mouli paratha was okay, a bit too wet. The chaska kakab, which is deep fried ground chicken kabab was very tasty (It comes in mild or spicy flavor, I got the spicy) but a bit dry and did not seem freshly made. The mint chutney was good. Sweet lassi however did not meet my expectation of authentic Punjabi lassi...it was a bit watery and lacked the sweet-sour balance. We will be back to try some more authentic Punjabi dishes.

Roti and Bhatura were undercooked, Butter Chicken was okay, the Chole was okay as well. Paneer Kathi roll had no flavour, could taste the butter in there. I guess it's a new management, hope they improve as this could be a good Punjabi restaurant which is the vicinity of Lewisville and Coppell.

I went here for the 1st time and really appreciated that the food tasted fresh and not mass produced. We tried 4 items, the baigan bharta, samosa chaat, paneer tikka masala, and malai kofta. We enjoyed the 1st three items the most. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The vibe of the place was very casual and laid-back and family friendly. It is not an upscale restaurant. I personally would have preferred not having the TV in the background playing Hindi music videos, but I suspect others may enjoy this more.

Went there with my husband for the 1st time and really enjoyed the true Punjabi food. Had some Saag and Makki di roti and Gobi Parantha! Both the items were delicious. Great hospitality and service! I am just happy that we have a good Punjabi restaurant close to our house. Wish them the very best
